Been using the buds for the past 3 weeks, really good quality. Best thing about them is they charge so fast. 15 minutes gives hours of use time.

It’s crazy that I upgraded from the 3D pulses to Pulse Elite and they kept disconnecting until they wouldn’t connect at all to the PS5 anymore. Connects to my phone and gaming laptop but will no longer connect to my PlayStation. But after I searched online this is a BIG problem and a lot of peoples headset isn’t connecting (even after returning and getting new ones over 5 times) so if you’re thinking of getting them, don’t…… atleast not until they update them cause they’re just $150 paper weights right now

Great video, I've had my pulse 3ds for over a year now and whilst they were great at the start not having adjustments on the headband has made them reallt uncomfortable now as they are drooping down. Was looking at these but looks like no adjustment on the headband again. Also the no game/chat adjust on the headset is a big no :( i use that feature constantly.

Can you explain about lows, mids, and highs in eq preset? I dislike standard eq preset mode for single player RPGs games as they sound too low. I am looking for something with higher character vocal sound and decent sound effect from game. *please note I currently playing with pulse explore earbuds. Thanks

No it doesn’t have touch sensors, only a button for muting.

Can you connect both the Explore & Elite to the same PlayStation Link USB Adapter?

Yes you can, but not simultaneously. Each Link USB adapter can connect to eight different Link devices. The Elite and Explore come paired to the adaptor in the box, so you would need to pair it with any other adaptors you wanted to use.

I returned my Pulse Explore and ordered Pulse Elite instead. A lot of detail; but not good for music. The key problem I have with the Explore is the comfort level. Wearing them is tricky for me (I tried all ear tips). For $200, I expect it works better. I just wish people stop making gaming headphone look like it is from sci-fi movie. No weird headband or flashing color (I am old fashion).

So I purchased both the pulse elite and the pulse explore earbuds thinking that I'd just blow the explores off just like most of the reviewers did. Let me start by saying that both of these products are amazing, and Sony has bought their A game. I have to be honest though and admit that I'm more impressed with the earbuds more because the sound is very comparable to the elites and not to mention I feel that bass just sounds better in the earbuds. Either way I don't think you can go wrong, but for me I might just be going with one, and the one will probably be the pulse explore.

You can connect it to any 3.5 mm audio jack, but it doesn't come with a connector cable. It supports 3D Audio in games that feature it, over the wireless Link connection.

@@RetroGunbladeyes and no. Headset stays on for noise canceling on the mic but does not connect wirelessly at all when plugged into a 3.5mm jack. When powered on and plugged in, the power only supports all button functions like volume and mute, even on Xbox consoles. The AI noise cancellation is built into the headset itself so all features besides EQ settings are supported save the lossless wireless connection for Xbox, and obviously the EQ settings are supported through a program on the PS5 console.

No, there is no over the air updates as of now-you have to plug them into the PS5. DualSense controllers were the same way for a very long time, OTA updates came later for controllers, so I suspect Sony will eventually do the same. I would note though, the update for my Pulse Explore took about 3 minutes to complete vs any controller update has been under 30 seconds in my experience.

I have the Pulse Explore ear buds. They're great for games but not so good for just listening to music, so I wouldn't recommend them as your primary earbuds. But for gaming, they're worth it.

Exactly the reason why I ordered the Elite and am returning the Explore. I have nice earbuds for my phone already, I find the Explore a tiny bit uncomfortable compared to AirPod Pro and don’t think I really need two sets of in ear buds-I wear my AirPods long enough and want to use over the ear for gaming.

@@RLockwich I used to be an over-ear headphone user but then I tried the AirPod Pro 2s and never looked back. So I’m super comfortable with earbuds, so I decided on the Explore over the Elite. The music in Persona 3 Reload sounds so good with the Explore.

I like the USB C dongles that don't stick out so far and are angled so that they don't interfere with the USB A port on the front of the console. Razer and Steel Series make these, not sure why Sony doesn't do something similar.

I also wonder how accurate that 30 hour battery life claim is. They claim 12 hours for the Dual Sense, and I usually get the "low battery" warning at around 4 hours. My Razer Barracuda X advertise 50 hours of battery life, and I have charged them about 10 times since buying them and I meticulously keep track of how long I am using them and they get 39-40 hours every time. Not the 50 hours advertised, but pretty good none the less.

It doesn't come with a wire, but can be connected to a 3.5 mm audio jack if you have that extra connection cable.

Have you put the Pulse Elite in pairing mode? You need to press and hold the PS Link button on your headset, and release it when the status indicator on your headset quickly blinks blue (approximately 8 seconds). Your headset is in pairing mode when the indicator quickly blinks blue.

OK so false alarm, after you turn it on the headset it'll stay blue, after your headset is on hold the Bluetooth button more like 9 to 10 seconds then it'll blink continuous until you're connected

There's a mute mic button on the back of the mic, but anything else is tweaked through the control centre on PS5.
