That's an interesting bit of info. I could even see plugging in the HDMI from my PC for games, movies or web surfing at times. If you have roommates, use the VR and some headphones and not disturb anyone at all.

Amazingly I'm surprised Microsoft hasn't come out with at least a VR option for their console.

Hi Lewis, I had watched this video once before, and now I am watching it again. it got me thinking what are Xbox's plans with VR? it's a space they are lacking, but need to get into. If it's done right and Xbox can deliver, it will be an amazing experience. Then there is also the Metaverse, I wonder what Xbox has planned for that if anything. Thoughts?

You proved that a PlayStation VR headset will work on an XBOX, but only if you connect a PS4 to it and have it running, only to have the same experience as if I was playing XBOX on my lounge room TV. No sure if this has been discussed, but are you able to change the depth of the image? Maybe I won't want to sit in front of a huge projection where I have to move my head to see like a mini map. Of course I'll enjoy big screens watching and playing certain games but sometimes I enjoy my 24" asus monitor vs my 40" tv.

why would anyone use their ps vr (which only works in combination with a ps4) to play games and watch movies on an xbox if you could simply use the ps4??

It's basically a display strapped to your face with a special focusing lens. And includes gyro and accelerometer and lights.

So why does it need to be connected to the Playstation via USB? Can the USB cable not just go into a USB port on the XBox, or a power supply?

Would this also work with any PS4 game.

Well... that was a failure. 1.) Have to buy 3 expensive systems. 2.) only end up getting a flat screen tv where that headset when what you really want is full vr emersion if you were playing games like racing games.
