Bit unfair that Rob told Nath told you're on the right road if solitude isn't on the signpost but Dave wasn't told this. And Rosie and Ash should've just helped Dave anyway as Nath had already had his turn, there was no other penalty. Robert S Pearson would've taken advantage if it was the other way round

The last 10 minutes of Dave's run were absolutely pathetic, he remembered to start adjusting and go east and then gave up again 10 seconds later and did a loop.

This was just perfect! Nathan the Christmas Elf still can't find Solitude and Dave managed to kill another horse for a Christmas Special. Thank you very much everyone. So, if anyone is interested - I just did the Skyrim challenge. It took me 11 mins from Windhelm to Solitude only following the signs. There were only two places where it was not too clear where to go. First at the place where you only get the Markarth sign and then that place where Nathan got it wrong at 35:54. in both instances it is enough to continue to follow the larger road that one has been using. However, this was way clearer to see during daytime, so I'd say Rob made it extra hard by starting the off during the night. If Nathan hat turned left and crossed that bridge it would have been two minutes until he could have seen Solitude. Even in the dark.

Dave trying to burn Nate on Skyrim in the very beginning, then losing the Christmas maze for the team in exactly that way is the highlight of 2022 for sure 🤣🤣❤️

@@jtyler9130 true they were easy to get. But Ash still almost lost to Christmas Nath when he had a time penalty in a game based on time. And It didn't help Rosie at all really, Nath 2-0'd her, and still got quite close to Solitude despite his time hindrance in the Skyrim. Overall they weren't enough either because Nath was more skilled at the games, or luckier (in terms of where he ended in Skyrim)

Even after getting "you cannot go this way messages" as he continued to head that direction. It was killing me. He had the right general idea: he said west for a while from Whiterun then cut up north. But that turned into "west or northwest at all times" which was his undoing.

I started playing Skyrim because of Nathan the Christmas Elf and it is part of my Christmas traditions to rewatch it every year so the route to Solitude is burnt into my memory. I really wanted Nathan to redeem himself and finally make it there but then he went the wrong way again and tbf if I hadn't memorised from all the years watching him fail to go left at the bridge, I would've done the exact same thing

Laughed out loud as Dave rode up a mountain side, then steadily rode off the side of said mountain and had to run from wildlife. :D Access must have angered the fae and been cursed to never be able to make it to Solitude. :D

I genuinely cannot believe this ending! Every time you all do one of these types of series it ends so dramatically, it’s incredible! Well done yet again. Also got to say that I love how Ash was so worried the entire series that she’d let everyone down, yet she was the only one to win in the finale. Well done Ash! And happy new year to the whole team!

I would just like to point out that from 33:20 Robert S Pearson clearly gives Nathan the Christmas Elf advice on which way to go. At that same point Dave from Dorset had no help and made his biggest mistake by going out west to Markarth (although going rock climbing on a horse wasn't the wisest choice either). I would like to lodge an appeal and to have this played again, partly due to the injustice but mostly because I've loved this series so much I just want more of it.

Sensational! Isn’t it funny how you’re all so likeable that I, a grown man, let out an audible cheer (complete with punch in the air) when Nathan emerged. Finally finished watching the series, and it was just as epic and hilarious as I'd been expecting! Also, I'd been HOPING from the very beginning that Nathan was going to be the secret challenge hiding in the big present, and I'm sooooo glad that I was right. Simply the best possible way that this could have ended. Nathan the Christmas Elf, you are the King of Skyrim!
