New Astro Bot gameplay awaits you as Rob explains how Astro Bot builds on Astro’s Playroom with new worlds, mechanics, bosses and heaps of PlayStation love. This 4K Astro Bot PS5 gameplay shows off some early new worlds from the game, as we rescue Ratchet in a beautiful garden, play with magnets in a construction yard and give a giant octopus a punch between the eyes. You’ll hear about how Astro Bot crams loads of PlayStation cameos into every level and how new powers level up classic Astro Bot gameplay.

Nearly 40 years old and I can’t believe I’m THIS excited for this game. I haven’t been much of a fan of platformers in the past but Astros Playroom was such a joy to play from start to finish, and I’m over the moon that a full game is coming. This looks incredible and I hope it sells well. I think we’ve all become a little jaded with modern games recently so something like this will be a perfect palate cleanser.

Astrobot gives me all the feelings of excitement and wonder that video games used to give me when I was a kid. There are a lot of games that I love for their own reasons as an adult, but there’s something about Astrobot that perfectly captures the way games made me feel as a kid the way no other video game has since. So excited to play this in September!

I’ve LOVED AstroBot since playing AstroBot: Rescue Mission on PSVR. This gives me so much JOY! I’ve wanted Astro to be recognized as a legit PS mascot ever since I fell in love with him. ❤

@@secondchance6603 that’d be fine if I didn’t allow my 7year old play things he is too young for (he’ll play watchdogs on occasion but not doing missions just driving around til his cars wrecked) But tbh it’d be nice for the kids to play something other than Minecraft & Goat sim. Besides, I don’t need to use my kids as excuses when it’s public knowledge that I’m a 41 year old child. 🤣

It’s not, PSVR 2 is dead Sony isn’t supporting it anymore. Astro Bot is designed for flat screens, it isn’t an experience designed for VR.

With this game it is warranted, Astro Bot: Rescue Mission and Astro’s Playroom are such FANTASTIC games! They’re some of the best platformers EVER and Astro Bot is going to be that but just on a much grander scale! It’s guaranteed to be great!

I already pre ordered i never been hyped that far for a platforming game but i can tell this game is very entertaining and has a huge amount of innovation has a gamer its funny and pleseant adventure into it. I'm also very delight to see that Sony is one of the rare studios to finally take the initiative and release something new, rather than something "déjà vu". That's the main reason why this game will leave me with fond memories, and the "astro play room" game has more than convinced me that this license has great potential and a unique way of playing, combining immersion with the dual-sense controller.
