Yeah, especially when you consider not only was the first game in the series released in 1992, but the datafiles for some of the early games go as far back as 1989. No wonder Windows wasn't a top priority.

These are the characters: (Nintendo characters and Staff) Mario = Little Monster Paratroopa = Little Laff Link Pikachu = Grendella Kirby/Giant Kirby = Yally Samus Ness Jigglypuff Gorgo = Mr. Gritthix Queen of Monster from Prehistoric Planet = Mrs. Verakisser (Mario Sub Series Characters) Luigi (appears silently/wordlessly on pages 1 and 2) Peach = Sister Toad = Pop Toadette = Mom Yoshi = Baby Monster Chain Chomp = Kerpplopus the Dog Luigi does not speak.
