I am 13, I absolutely love this song. My dad showed me this, ever since I've been obsessing over it. Now whenever I see my dad, one of us whisper "you took the best of me" then the other yells "GO AWAY", it's a good attention grabber.

The muffling at 3:08 gives me chills every time, the sound of desperation. This album stands up more than 20 years later, so good

This is the song that really flung me into loving Linkin Park. The first time I heard it I was so amazed that I had to replay it a couple of times just to wrap my head around what I was hearing. I was about eight or so years old. "In the End" and "Numb" were pretty cool and that's how I was introduced to you guys, but they were nothing like this track. Linkin Park has been my favorite band since. All the changes that you guys went through, though a bit skeptical at first, just seemed to make sense in the long run.

There will never be an album especially a remix album where black culture meets white culture with good talented undiscovered rappers and other songs where they have so much meaning to it to the point where it almost makes me tear up. This album is so iconic and inspiring and motivational that it needs to be kept in a special music hall of fame museum.

This is so eerie and dreamlike.. It’s almost like I can hear someone going through a tough time and dreaming up something like this. It just seems to randomly go between riffs with a slight but unmissable surreal undertone, to more in-your-face, to that dim ending. Brilliant!

I love the rap in this song. This song just pulls at you and you feel all of the angst and sorrow. Chester put it into words, the guys brought it to light. I will forever be grateful. You kept me going, thank you.

Im 36 now and i know when they recorded this song they are like 24 or 25 years of age. But man, hearing this now is like ME going back at the age of 12. It still clear to me like yesterday when a young me playing this on cassette all day over and over again.
