I think it's a ferset video explain this definition , because most of the Engineer Automation thinking they are one thing , so we thankful to you , but you it's a longer time you don't do anything and we all the time stay tuned for more videos to you . Distributed I/O are just used to put toguether several I/O signals of equipments that are far way from the main rack and send to it using reliable communication protocols, right? And Remotes I/O are an "upgrade" of D. I/O since they have a built in CPU, right? So they can for example: Be programed to add a safety algorithm which keeps the critical processes of the equipments that the remote i/o is handling in case of a failure in the main CPU; Or process some informations in that remote place and send only the resutls to the main CPU.

Yes Ethernet connection...CAT 5e, 6, 6A or 7.

This would be based on how you want it… most of the time i used it just mapping the IOs and IO scanners in the master PLC without keeping any sequence inside PRA just mapping the IOs to MW.. but sometimes I am doing sequence and adding selector the the panel to switch between mapping IOs and enabling the local sequence which would be based on the client requirements. Having local sequence would be added value if there is issue with communication..In water treatment I lime to add backwashing sequence inside the PRA locally and in the master PLC .. if there is an issue or maintenance .. operator can switch to local mode and run the backwashing sequence

I did mistake here...You knew camera shy effect..we have to speak technically deterministic and non deterministic ... Modbus tcp by its nature is not deterministic so schneider....I have to do a video for correction
