Great video. My question though is, let's say somewhere in the sequence you have to make a decision , say send a product left or right based on some quality, how do you incorporate that into the sequence ?

Finally im starting to grasp this function..Still not digging why we need a mask ?

sometimes you may want to avoid set or reset a certain bit. Using a zero-bit mask can help you ignore some output bits while transitioning to different states. I sometimes see these scenarios in the machines I work on.
