Okay so chemtrails over the country club is a metaphor for her friends and family. she said that she was reminiscing over chemtrails because thats what she saw in her childhood a lot with her siblings. So the entire album is surrounding herself and her loved ones. The actual mv is based on this book called "women who run with the wolves" which is about feminisms and liberation, which is why there's wolves in the mv because the represent freedom and that's where her and the girls are most free. All of the girls in the music video are her friends. The music video is about women who are rich living the suburban housewife life, but at night they're free and liberated to do whatever they want, which is them being wolves. hope this helps!

Oh thats makes so much sense. Though when I first watched it, I interpreted it as rich people living their best lives, getting kind of bored of it, while not minding the alarming things going on around them (the chemtrails). Then things got out of hand, the fruits are full of chemtrails, the weather's going crazy,and they're turning into wolves. It's too late for them to do anything anymore. I think the chemtrails are a metaphor for alarming global issues like Global warming, etc.

The video is actually very artistic. It brings a lot of issues to the forefront. She's showing us how she is perceived as this typical boring woman by the day but by the night she is wild as a wolf. (notice when she is in front of the mirror, she takes her shirt off and reveals that eccentric outfit in the video) Her Cancer is sun and her Leo is moon (she combined that with Werewolf imagery) Moon (emotions) is how a person actually is according to astrology. She is also painting a full moon in the video. Throughout the video, there are hints and subtle nods to what's to come. She connected the moon to werewolves. (which is brilliant to show her primal wild side) This is also a reference to women who run with the wolves. (feminist for fragile/softer women) You can look up Chemtrails conspiracy for even a deeper dive :) So much to unpack!

I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope you guys listen to more of her!!!! Will you do Ride, there's a music video with beginning monologue and ending monologue as the credits start so you have to watch until the very end. Gods and Monsters, Blue Jeans, Born To Die, Young and Beautiful are some of her classics. You can do Tropico too it's incredible. it's like a short film 15 min. Or so. Also let me add onto this, when Lana says “my cancer is sun and my Leo is moon” I also think of how she’s saying she’s flipped in an astrological sense because cancer actually rules the moon and Leo rules the sun.

Sun in one's chart refers to the person's father, authoritative figures, government related things, things from paternal sides, NOTHING rules them. 🤡 *SUN* rules the house of Leo. *Moon* rules the house of Cancer, not the other way around.

Kudos to you guys, I've watched a lot of videos about this music video and you guys are the first ones who took the time to actually look up what a chemtrail actually is. They are real, it is true and it is a global issue. She is calling out several Global issues in this video without making huge waves in the media basically. There are other aspects to the video but that is one of the biggest things about the music video. But seriously, you guys are the first one to look up what a chemtrail is, most people in America don't have a clue what they are so I'm seriously impressed that you guys took the time to do that!

when she said "my moon in leo and my cancer is sun" its actually representing the situation of her life, when in the daylight, her cancer is the one that dominated, thats why it looks chill, peaceful, happy. In astrology sun usually represent how you wanna be presented in the suraface, how u wanna be perceieved by people. Meanwhile, in the night, under the moonlight, her leo is kicking, the moon usually represent how u inside, thats why she said "iam still strange and wild" and representing her leo.
