Galaxy J7 Prime here, best smart phone I ever had even if it isn't near the best on the market. Plenty of space, quick enough to load anything I want and decent sized screen. Only odd is how the music plays outside the side of the cell and you can't change it to blast out other speakers or all of them. Other than that the only minor problem I have with it is close up photos/videos are blurry as fuck. You need to be at least 5-7 inches away as any closer wrecks the image completely. Last cell before that was a ZTE tiny ass smart phone lol Had that for a good 3 years, and before that? A flip phone that I had for probably 5 years. Yep, I am one of those that don't need the newest gadgets though admittedly that is mostly because of how insane the prices are without even considering buying new things at that cost pretty much every year.

I just hate the fact that they can’t just put the snap dragon in all the phones or at least drop the price of the exynos version because it’s a downgrade

The reason for the half and half is that sometimes the exynos processor is actually more powerful like in this case, but they dont want to outright switch to either or, because of performance differences each generation. It would be kinda awkward if they had a super power exynos chip that curb stomped the snapdragon, and fully committed to the exynos chip, and then the following year the snapdragon curb stomped the exynos chip. It better to keep qualcomm happy by buying there chips and then just underclocking whichever is the higher performing.

My s10 plus has an exynos and I cant feel the difference that much, but yes at least it should be cheaper then the snapdragon. Samsung is being samsung.

@@questioneverything5595 I know right I use it as my daily driver. Even though I have an iPhone 12 mini, I use as a second phone. In fact my first one someone stole it from me. So I got a second one. I still use a Samsung Gear s3 frontier a 9 yr smartwatch.

@@JamarD421 Not bad tbh. It gets hotter and doesn't last as long as my old phone (might be because it's not the snapdragon chip version), but it's infinitely quicker and 120hz is great. Certainly don't regret it 👍

A good one for a third of the price - and Aldi Germany this week had an Xiaomi Redmi 8A in offer - 99 EUR (120 Dollar) with a 10 Euro prepaid Sim ;) Samsung and Apple don't seem to understand, that the majority of the people don't want a gaming console, movie browser and handheld for the price of a small Workstation - they want a fucking phone with internet connectivity and apps.

Joshua Keys Joshua Keys No. Those features that Samsung puts in their phones are fun for the first couple of seconds you try them, but after that you’re never gonna measure your heart rhythm with your phone. Also, if they kept things like the iris scanner that compromise screen real estate, the Galaxy S10, Note10 and S20 wouldn’t have been a thing.

Joshua Keys Of course the Note9 is a great phone, but at least in terms of design, I would definitely get a phone with small bezels and chin + a camera cutout than a phone with an equally big chin and forehead. (unless it has huge front facing stereo speakers like those weird gaming phones, then the compromise is kinda acceptable for me). Not only do bezelless phones look better, but smaller bezels means that they can fit a larger screen into a smaller form factor.

To be fair, I have a 144Hz monitor and even if it's snappier and a great improvement at gaming, I could live with my 60Hz display (my 2nd display is 60hz). And if I could trade battery for speed, I would probably go for the battery.

I've had my S20 Ultra since it came out. I love it! I've used 100x for space shots. Takes awhile to learn but 100x takes great sky shots, however I prefer using 30x. I bought the phone for the camera but the phone has been dropped many times and it still works great.

@@jbjoker18 I ended up getting an S21 Ultra (Turns out the S20U I ordered was... far from legit) and it was a fantastic phone (still use it as my backup). From everything I've read the S21 lineup still holds up really, really well.

Had my S20 Ultra about a year now. It's still holding up vs the iphone 13 Pro (compared it last week with a friends brand new one) and I'd argue it's better, but that's mainly because I hate the iphone interface and just apple products in general. The 100x zoom is still so much fun to use, especially when taking shots of the moon, iphone and other android users are always blown away. Not really a fan of how the iphone always makes pictures look 'warm' so in that aspect I am extremely happy. I paid a lot, it's my phone (not on a data plan) and I plan on keeping it at least for +6 years. Considering my previous phone, the S4, lasted about 5 years, I am confident this will more than 'pay for itself'.

I get the irony howevet it does make sense, i havent used a tv in like maybe 10 years, so it would never occour to me to drop a large amount of money on a proper tv, unless i didnt have anything else to spend money on. I would however buy a 1000$ phone since its usefull in so many other ways other than "watching a movie".

I do find the advantage of having a good zoom... at work on the warehouse, people use binoculars to see the model of some items that are really high... i just zoom in on my s20... after all my phone is my best tool of work

I love this phone. Best phone i've ever had and i'm not sure how it lost to the iphone in battery life as I have both and it isn't even CLOSE. Maybe there was some sort of update that helped samsung/hurt iphone? Maybe its the light load that video brings but when under heavy load (like playing pokemon go or something) iphone just drops behind? My only complaint is as others have said the auto focus seems meh. Easily solvable with manual but not everyone can do it so i get that.

I would really like to see how well it would work with Mobile Phones, Laptop, & interfacing with AR world... I would be Traveling and Driving with the glasses on as a hud, also Love to see how it performs when I fly with a drone... I tried flying and driving at the same time, that didn't go very well for me... But nowadays with the DJI Mavric and follow me features, i could drive and see what my drone sees when it's following me at the same time; Would really like to see how well that technology has improved since 2016.

Kinda ironic when i'm currently considering it too replace my G8 thinQ (going out of service soon, and I need something with 5G support). If its good for daily driving and has horsepower, idk if using Exynos or Snapdragon is any different but I do like too have some good battery life with it, and its from a brand I at least heard of (probably good too use a phone who makes their own great quality Screen & Solid State Storage, I heard), maybe it'll be a good phone too trade (although sad, since i've only used LG phones starting with the G4, and that was a good lil phone).

Just did see this as i did order one today to pick up tomorrow plan to upgrade from s7 as some software is crashing or not supported. s7 still works fine just tends to overly drain battery if used actively for 10 min. so Europe has the battery hungry chip. its a B rated used phone so its as low as 6000 nok or 688$

I have an Samsung s9 pls - Mobile its Screen gets minor black lines an sort of florescent green color comes in between 20 an 60% brightness when adjust, no crack nothing on screen absolutely new condition. I have a S20 plus and I m looking forward to upgrade to the S20 ultra because s21 plus is identical with S20 plus, expect the processor. Also I have the 4g option and I will buy a S20 ultra with 5G. After android 11 and now 12 it's a great phone. It s one of the brightest screen out there and I think it's an important thing when you are moving all day. And it's beautiful big screen is also one of the largest, so if you watch a lot of content it's another important thing. I'm not say it's the greatest phone but it's not trash as you said in your video.

I bought the Ultra with 128 GB. Don't recommend it for video recording. 8k and 4k60 can only be saved to internal memory. Even with fast SD cards up to 1 TB in size, you'll be limited to record 4k30 directly on sd. I would love to know it before the purchase. Go for 512 GB instead if possible. By the way I liked the way 4k videos are recorded on an entire file all at once. S9 and S10 save huge videos split in many pieces due to the size. I am recording many camera tests with it ultimately. Compared to my old S9, a huge improvement!

Bought one when it first launched. Really haven't had any issues or complaints. As for Teams, MS must have fixed something because I have no problems getting notifications on it and the quick reply features to be able to answer one without going to the app in the background. The camera has some cool features, but also isn't anything close to what they hype. Battery life is solid, but I don't keep 120hz mode on. I can go days without charging and use it often all day most days.

Except who has more than a few notifications at a time anyway? Im not saying it might not need fixed, but as long as your notification is there its not that big of a problem. If you have that many notifications that you cant find them, then start turning off notifications and dismissing them when they come in.

My note 9 is still going strong. Battery still over a day.. I got lucky all the updates havent broken it yet. Price has dropped so much i might buy another for backup over anything newer. My wife has the note 10 and the only real difference is the camera takes slightly better pictures and she may have g5.. but no 5g towers here so...

I've got a $20 case for my S9, I've had it for 2 years and dropped my phone many times, phone still looks brand new when I take it out. Had an Otterbox for my S8 and it fell apart after a few months.

I'm in the UK I got the S20+ 5G, the Exynos version does definitely have a negative effect on battery life given the marketing, I made the upgrade from an S8 and battery life wise did not feel like much of an upgrade at all. However saying that I do actually get all day use out of it and the battery can be anywhere from 15-30% depending on how much use it gets throughout the day - and that's with the 120htz refresh rate on! I cannot resist it, I wish it was at the native res but that beyond anything feels like I've upgraded. I don't care much about camera stuff but the ability to take 8K pics is cool (Just gotta have the storage for it!). The hold punch is annoying but I only really find it annoying if I watch full screen content, I have dark background and dark mode on wherever I can so mostly it's invisible and depending on the content (like Facebook where it's lower on the screen) you barely notice it. I just wish they would do something cool with a combination of it and the OLED display to replicate the effect of the old LED indicator my S8 had as that was a great easy way to inform me (Even subconsciously somtimes) of notifications. Overall I had a great experience with my S8 and I have an equally good if not better experience with my S20. I hope this helps people out and I hope LTT finds this interesting :)

@@habibur.0 I haven't got the ultra I have the plus, but yeah overall I recommend it. The battery life doesn't feel like an upgrade but I have the exyonos version and I use the screen quite bright at 120hz, if that's not important to you I guess you'll get better battery life. I definitely say get the larger model as the screen is awesome. Everything else is pretty much as you'd expect like the s8 but obviously with newer software. Hope this helps.
