Joji is just such a genius. Hes leaves his songs open for any interpretation for anyone to take from it and its really easy to find an emotional connection to his material even if its not associated with the direct theme of the lyrics. Its one of the reasons i love his abstract music videos; you can just let your mind wander to whatever it wants to think, and everyone is right.

Her loss man. I know it can be gut wrenching listening to joji during a breakup. Back when he released Nectar I was going through the late stages of a dying long distance relationship and it’s fucking devastating how close to home Joji’s lyrics can hit. But all I can say is to focus on yourself and improve yourself as a man and your life will improve accordingly. Let yourself feel those emotions deeply and truly to let it out but don’t get caught up over a girl who just wasn’t compatible or appropriate for you at this time in your life. Work on yourself and care for yourself more, have some self love and confidence and you’ll find you won’t be attracting ungrateful ass girls like that. If you improve your value you’ll attract girls who treat you right. If she forgets that she’s with you when she’s with other ppl then she’s playing you man, and if you have any self respect as a man you cannot take shit from ppl like that. Aw man, I lost my girl a month ago and I'm still hopelessly in love with her, she moved on, I want to move on too, but I can't. This doesn't mean I don't want to move on, you know... It's hard to leave someone who made you feel too special. The reason she leaved me it's because I was out of time, work, school, family discussions; alot of shits.
