I think there is a 99.6% chance that adult squirrel is a tame pet. Anyone who has had to corner a wild squirrel for any reason realizes that they would not freeze passively with fear. That's for possums. Wild adult squirrels, while they're happy to be fed peanuts, choose insane Berserker violence if grabbed or cornered.

the reason that bear did that is because it was taught to by people who fed the bear. it learned to associate passing cars with food if it raises its paw. it will end up being deleted because that's how wild bears who've been accustomed to people are treated. sorry to mansplain.

The reason why they added that line, is because there are hundreds of different species and most are actually poisonous while a relatively small fraction is even parasitic. Also its pretty hard to differentiate them from each other, so finding one that is not poisonous should be left for specialists.

Fun fact, the species of snail at 3:45 is known as a bladder snail. They have an air bladder in their shell that they inflate to help float like that. They tend to be nuisances in the aquarium as their reproduction rate puts rabbits to shame.

I think we all agree the person deserved it however i think in those cases we should forget about our pride and how disrespectful we were treated and go help the person immediately we shouldnt let some emotions / an argument with a stranger impact us to a degree that we lose the human nature to always help every living being in need and maybe it could make the older guy reflect upon his behaviour and might improve there, 100% he would realize how bad he treated them for no reason and will feel ashamed when they came for help maybe he wouldnt think this right away, out of pride would insist on what he did but when he is trying to sleep at night alone in his comfort zone where nobody can judge him he will think about it

@@Widdekuu91 Yeah I’m gunna be honest with you here man, outright harassing people who are just doing their job isn’t acceptable regardless of mental illness. If it’s something that makes them lash out at people like that they’re a danger to themselves and others and need either a caretaker or medication (which the man clearly doesn’t have). It’s one thing to have an episode and act irrationally, it’s another to directly harass and act as a threat to others. Additionally, given his actions before he fell, if it was an episode of some kind, helping him would put the workers and the guy in danger as he clearly lashed out at them specifically. Even if it wasn’t an episode, when someone at that age falls like that, it isn’t exactly a good response to grab them and get them back up without training to do so. After all, if they try to pick him up and squeeze too hard, aren’t aware of a medical issue, or accidentally drop him, it could be really bad for everyone involved.

What if he was complaining about the noise, which they were making or whatever. We don't know that side at all. All we see is him driving around, them saying they want to call someone and him having an accident and them leaving him laying there, knowing he is unable to stand up. I have PTSD too and I have not harassed people that did construction-work, but I can definitely imagine that as an old person, with zero chill, you might. Sure, maybe I'm too empathethic and can imagine the helplessness while laying there and being in pain and the capable youths just standing around and not helping you out, because they don't like you now, but the right thing to do, would have been to help him. Even if it is just to show him, that there áre nice people in the world. The only thing they showed him with this behaviour, is that he was right to think that they were assholes in the first place.

There is also a big difference between possible-injuring-someone while helping them up ÁND sitting next to someone, making sure they are okay and asking if you need to get their caretaker or wife, to help them back up. You can't just let someone lay there, saying; 'Well yeah, bruh, I don't want to hurt him, so I'll just let him lay there." At least..I don't know what the rules in America are, but in my country, you nééd to help and leaving the person to just lay there, is punishable by law.

The snail being attached to the surface is actually really common. It doesn't have to do with the snails weight, rather than a bubble inside their body which they can inflate to be buoyant. I've seen much bigger snails do that

And before I got those I had a metal plate screwed into the roof of my mouth to widen the top part of my mouth it was the worst few months of my life. And getting that plate taken out was horrendously painful even though the orthodontist put numbing gel😭 never again I do not want to go through the terrors of orthodontics

So that snail is actually something people often call a pond snail or even a bladder snail. I have several in my fish tank. They can make themselves buoyant and like to take rides on the currents. In the wild, this is a great tactic for a quick escape from predators and a way for them to travel down currents to find new food and unrelated snails. In fish tanks, they use it to do goofy things like swirl around the current and try to eat algae floating on the surface of the water. They're very fun to watch.

@@fungdark8270 Assassin snails do a great job at keeping the population under control. I actually have a few in my tank. I never see them since they're nocturnal, but I can tell when they've been doing their job. The empty shells are evidence enough of that. I've only got 3 assassin snails at this point and they are very slow to reproduce. I've had a lot of issues with filters getting clogged by snails and the footprint they have on my tank (literally and more metaphorically), but I actually like having my little pest snails around. They clean up dead plant matter pretty well and are a fantastic indicator species for whatever might be going on in my tank. Not to mention, they get up to some crazy shenanigans.

That wacky-looking braces torture device is actually called a Herbst appliance! It’s used in orthodontics to bring the bottom jaw forward and pressure the top jaw back in order to align them for a better bite. (I had one when I had braces, it’s not as evil as it looks lol)
