Great reaction and now you know why Scholastic Books was the publisher - to recognize and teach 12-18 year olds about politics and war and the aftermath for the people involved without having to be in such an historical time yourself. Susan Collins was brilliant in writing this story. Do go ahead and read the rest of the books they are well worth your time.
