This is not a KIA car problem. this is a DPF issue. Every diesel car has this DPF filter which chokes after many kilometers. It need high heat to regenerate. In hilly areas this filter chokes very fast because of high low acceleration and less oxygen.

Does your insurance and RSA covers Leh Ladak, because all insurance and RSA wont provide Leh Ladak support, for that you have to take seperate policy & service

You have used you car in too much dusty place. Definitely it will block all air filters, this is not smoke. These are Dust.

8.45, shows 58 km in 3.7 krpm ? Very worst driving habit you have, thats why the efficiency of the engine is reduced. i also have KIA Carens, it gives me 80 km in 1.8 krpm.
