i have the memories of 38, his ptsd of super battle droids, i use his hand signals, i remember the time i spent as 38 more than i do my own childhood, i have a ton of time in clone wars rp servers, in which i was arc, 41st, republic commando, commander gree, etc. i have more time in various star wars video games and mods being a clone trooper than i do having an actual life.

Literally one of the worst decisions in the show honestly. That amongst other things really put me off from that era. As cool as the show was, it destroyed a lot of canon for me. The Republic Commando books being some of them.
@shadowzone25883 ай бұрын
@@admiralfishface8750 i think it was a necessary thing given how the show gave quite abit of character to the clones. it would be a little off putting having them kill there jedi commanders with no hesitation given how alot of them seem to care about them.

@@chaing-kai-shek2862 yeah but given how much character the clones had in the show it would of been kinda off putting with them betraying then with hesitation.

I liked Clones better when they executed the Jedi of their own free will after growing to hate them over the course of 4 years. Hate the season seven ending for essentially killing off every regular minor clone trooper in the clone wars series instead of letting them become a part of the empire.
@imperialdacha29392 жыл бұрын
I strongly agree. The chips retcon completely killed both the meaning of the troops obedience on the genetic level (which was directly pointed in episode 2), and the tragedy/grim realism of Order 66, based, on the one hand, on the real volitional effort of those who saved the life of the jedi's, and the other hand, the fact that the most of the clones didn't mind executing their generals and then gladly served the Empire. Anyway, Legends/EU always will be the true face of Star Wars

@@imperialdacha2939 Indeed, Dave Filoni ruined the clonetroopers for me with his stupid brain chip idea.

They had little reason to hate most Jedi, considering they were the few who treated clones with any humanity. The original version of Order 66 was free will, but largely without any hatred. It was literally just an order, and clones follow orders. It's just that simple.
