This demonstration must be epic in person. That's why they don't zoom in on the table to show you on camera, so you will buy their overpriced tickets for the tour they're bringing to an office near you!

Good points but the fiberglass filters alow more airflow and the 3M filters cause restrictions

This is true! We also carry a pleated filter that allows maximum air flow with better cleaning ability called the Air Beast. It might be worth checking out if airflow is important for your HVAC system.

@@DiscountFilters when is airflow not important to an HVAC unit?

Fiberglass filter looks much better for actual airflow to the furnace. Furnaces are designed to heat your home, not purify your air.

how's your asthma going for you? enjoying your circulated virus spores? I use mine to be an air filter that heat's and cools my home all while keeping my furnace nice and clean.

i have never seen a filter like that fiberglass filter at Home Depot. I buy the Rheem pleated filters in a three pack at HD!

Constant use, pleaded, restricted airflow. All it does is burn out. The motors in your unit is bad idea, use the fiberglass and replace every 30 days.

Agreed, buy a separate air purifier for the home if your goal is to have clean air.

My HVAC guy told me recently that I should switch from pleated to fiberglass which I'd never heard of. I understand it allows more airflow but wouldn't it cause more allergens and dust to get through? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of having a filter?
@wdl8416Күн бұрын
No, the filter is to protect the unit from large dust partials. It has nothing to do with air quality. Alot of people don't understand that. I always recommend a room air purifier or up grade your unit to a 90 95%er which allows for 2, 4 inch pleated filters. They are designed for them but not 1 inch filter units.

what about RESTRICTED AIRFLOW? part of the equation?

Is the message in this video telling me the custom washable filters I just bought from your company are not as good as the pleated filters?

Pleated will reduce flow. I have a major air purifier. I use spin fiber glass in my HVAC. As it’s 1” thick. Using a Merv 7 pleated etc. Big Big no no. I had one in for two months and they caused pressure and noise on the fan wheel. Unit is 1 year old. They create two much back pressure, not to mention restrict air flow. Unless your filter is more than an inch thick now way I’d recommend
