They don't exist in the spanish alphabet, they are just a combination of two existing letters, like ch or sh in english (show, choose). However, teachers use to teach these combinations as different letters because they represent a different phonetic sound.

Letters "V" and "B" are equally pronounced in standard Spanish. The sound is always bilabial /b/ or /β/, never fricative /v/. That's why they have different names: "B" is called "be alta"(mainly in Central America), "be larga" (mainly in South America) or "be" (mainly Spain), and "V" is called " uve" or "ve corta". It's a common mistake to make a pronunciation difference like the teacher did.

@NaDopros : What are you talking about? The letters "b" and "v" sound basically the same except that the "b" is "b larga" and the "v" is "v corta". I have spoken Spanish ALL MY LIFE and I have not ever heard the "v" said as "oovay". The only letter that I have heard being taught differently is the "w"; some say "doble-u" (as I do), and others say "doble-v".

I used to pronounce the r this way, but then I was corrected. My tutor (from Venezuela) told me that the single r is not a rolled r, but a single-tap r. He is pronouncing the single r the way my tutor told me to pronounce the double r (rr). The ch and the rr are conspicuously absent. But this video is still quite nice because you can see his lips when he pronounces the letters, which is very important.

those letters doesn't exist at the alphabet, just it's a pronunciation derived of C + H sound, double L, and double R. Sorry my english is so bad because still I'm a begginer :ss
