@@jessewest2109 The artists themselves probably couldn't care less. I got the Conquering Dystopia tab book and a huge chunk of it was wrong: either the notes were played in different positions (Kufra at Dusk main riff) or certain fast sections of the solos were just completely off (first solo for Autarch). It's a great 'guide', no doubt, but I've learnt to just trust my ears for accurate transcribing.

Dude it's so crazy how awesome and talented and technical these guys are and most people haven't heard of them. as a child I would go through my dad's vinyls and listening to everything that I could so once I got on KZfaq I used it to it's fullest extent.I found these guys a band called animals as Leaders blotted science pomegranate tigers scale the summit and so many other amazing bands that I'm amazed are so underground that they haven't broken through. But the demographic for the genre is quite small.

This version, without the sax solo should be illegal... i need the sax, man. However, i managed to synchronise this version and the album version, success on the first try/click (i know, hard to believe), sounds interesting, particularly the solo section.

He has to be using a pitch shifter for the low chugs right?
@finlet3874
@finlet3874 3 жыл бұрын
yeah at the end atleast, i think he pitches it from a F# down to a D maybe C#?
@geordihills
@geordihills 3 жыл бұрын
@@finlet3874 Yeah to D I think, he's originally in drop A so he must also pitch shift to the F#
@finlet3874
@finlet3874 3 жыл бұрын
@@geordihills original Drop A? I thought it would be F# because it would make sense the 6 strings are in his 'standard tuning' drop c#, but yeah i don't know. I learned how to play the riff on a 8 string in drop D, it seemed the original tuning was F#
@geordihills
@geordihills 3 жыл бұрын
@@finlet3874 ahh ok I'm not actually sure it just sounded like an A when he was playing the seventh string to the start of the track. Correction: it looks like drop Ab whoops
@austinhayman7023
@austinhayman7023 3 жыл бұрын
He is using a 7 string for the rhythm guitar, so I think its low enough. Sounds like its around Ab to me, as Plini love's Eb and drop C# tuning which works well with Drop Ab on a 7 string. Might be wrong though.

@@jacob7225 he definitely had some background singers for this album. I’m just saying, this isn’t his new song. This was released before his interview with Devin Townsend.
