EVERY track on this OST is so good. People hype up the boss theme so much but the rest of the game's music is great as well.

You both are wrong. Acclaim had no involvement in the game and Tradewest only published the game in the USA (Nintendo did that in Europe and Activision in Japan). Software Creations were the developers behind the game

This is a 5 minute long song on the snes. Like most vgm of the era would top out at like 1:30 then loop. Honestly that's all you really needed, you're not usually supposed to just chill in the level for like 10 minutes... but if the music is good, then why not?

I always loved Tim Follin's music from his 8-bit, especially the Spectrum. I done a video of Plok which I hope to upload very soon but I'm having problems with the editing at the moment, plus I'm still undecided wether or not I'm gonna do some commentary on it or not. It was my very first time playing the game and I very much enjoyed it.

Well you can just wait with collecting the flag, but first time playing you are unlikely to expect the track to be way longer than it has any reason to be.

Y'know, I have the same feeling. In fact, listen to the beginning of the background music for the core, and then listen to the beginning of the beach background music of Plok. I think this is too much to be a mere coincidence. I'm pretty sure Toby Fox is a fan of Tim Follin, and his favorite pieces from Tim are the Plok soundtracks.

This beginning of this song is pure dopamine and bliss. Then it just kinda declines for me, but right as it starts up again for another loop it just throws a big goofy smile on my face.
