While you can't cast jace, nothing stops you from putting it straight into the battlefield, like with Cosmic Rebirth.

@@LegenVD its a pretty cool play though, rebirth get jace and 3 life, plot something for free, they have to kill the walker, its a huge tempo loss for the opponent. I really just want Cosmic Rebirth to be good :

It's almost definitely not but if you're ever able to pull it off, it could be a nice play pattern. Seems more like something to be aware of being a play line than something to strive for on a consistent basis though.

I'm extremely happy you saw potential in doc Aurlock and decided to add it to the deck! So, since there are a good number of adventures, maybe you could consider a variant with Lier? Lier allows you to recast the instant/sorcery part from graveyard and doc Aurlock discounts it since you cast the cards with flashback. Another possible but completely different route is going all in with Up the Beanstalk and including cards like This Town ain't Big Enough: you cast that card for 2 but it still draws a card, and potentially comboes with Slickshot Lockpicker which you can plot for 1 and which can recast the instant for 1 or 3, drawing again. Just some ideas. Anyway, I loved the video! Hopefully Simic is back

Been pilot testing the deck for months now, love the concept. I found that adding in 1 Bonny Paul, as well as one Smuggler's Surprise helps. Bonny Paul can get out pretty quickly with ramp and provide board presence while advancing land drops and card draw. Smuggler's surprise is a versatile and relevant trick for the deck that can hexproof/indestructible your creatures, get lands or creatures, or just put creatures in play. The creature lands, as well as the legendary lands you have, are very important for this deck for interaction, as well as continued attacking pressure after a board wipe.

@@LegenVD Here's an update for August 2024 - Managed to take the deck to Mythic ranking. Similar build to what was described above, but added season of weaving from bloomburrow in for a variety of tempo tricks. It works well. If the board is too overwhelming, return all permanents to hand; also, creating multiple token copies of a vaultborn tyrant or railway brawler can change the game in an instant. There have even been times where tyrant dies, comes back as a token, then I season of weaving to create another token copy, and return all permanents to hand, leaving to vaultborn tokens in play. The deck plays really well, and while it does have difficulties in terms of interaction (had the most difficult time with mono red and mono black), it plays very well when the engine gets going.

It's very funny to me the lengths they have gone through to display that creatures have reach on Arena. I think everyone has attacked some random bird into a reach creature on accident before and laughed it off, but maybe Wizards considers it an epidemic.

Don't blame you, it is quite confusing. It's a bonus sheet in the main set called "The Big Score". Reason for the different set symbol is that they were originally planning to release a separate small set along the lines of MoM Aftermath, but after the backlash Aftermath received they instead merged it into the main set. All the Big Score cards are legal in Standard, which isn't true for the "Breaking News" or "Special Guests" bonus cards. Those will instead be legal in Timeless and mostly legal in Historic.

Ngl, I find it really annoying that wotc keeps letting this stupid bs slip through the cracks. Things like prototype aren't busted like this. I really wish they'd errata this type of stuff asap instead of us having to deal with new raccoon combos every other set. Of course it's bigger than the racoon since we have seen similar issues with cascade and adventures/double sided cards and the such in the past.

And later for at least a week or two YT is full of videos without useful content for the META, and in the mayority of times the matches are boring, because are against other creators trying stupids decks what don't work... Don't understand nothing. Sorry for my negativity, but when they release a expansion without early access, is all better, is a fact.
