How to make your own harness to completely use the auto headlight feature for your fog light's. This is a plug and play harness no hacking into the factory harness just plug into both and easily can be removed later down the road if need be. works on anything but i made for 99-06

Okay, my Silverado LS is a basic model 2 door std cab. Mine is an 03....and it has a fog light switch. The truck was involved on a deer hit....messed up the bumper and grille. I just bought a used 05 Avalanche bumper and grille....and it has a fog light lower plastic air deflector and fog lights installed. But my truck being a work truck doesn't have the harness plugs for the factory style fog lights. There must be a place in the harness or the fuse panel where I could plug a replacement harness for the fog lights and use the built in switch on the dash. It is actually showing a light on the dash when I turn on the switch.

I agree, the First Set of OEM replacement Fog Lights you bought do look a little Flimsy. Will those second set of Fog Lights you installed fit in a 2001 Silverado?

That's the cheaper way to do it I gess. The best way is with factory harness and swich. On 03 -07s it just worked no bcm flash needed. I added them to my 07 with the factory swich. Then got the Hi 6 mod chip.

Nice video. Instead of running connectors to both individual headlights, couldn’t you tie into one light and build your fog light harness spliced together to tie into the one headlight?

How does the harness work that you attached ? It looks to small to plug into the fog light and the headlight .

its not to small you dont need that much if you have to much it will be hanging out the truck.

Sorry for the long video i didn't like the first fog light setup it didn't project like i wanted it to. So we went with factory which looks a lot better.
