I have 1968 Plymouth roadrunner beautifully restored .

Another story of my 69 ROAD RUNNER was in a small town in northern wash state 10. pm in a Safeway grocery parking lot a group of 17 to 20 kids with there cars and they all had questions when I pulled in .I said to them this seems like a real quite town in a valley and 10 minutes later I said watch THIS .Started it up and you could hear that 383 with those CHERRY BOMB muffler's I revved it up and popped the clutch and shut it off and 2 minutes later 2 cop cars come roaring in were all standing there and no one said a word .later I said to the group do you think that woke up the whole town .p.s. Every buddy had real big Smiles 🤗🌌 p.s. now that was clean fun 🤗🤗

Your video was so cool I subscribed to your Channel. I have my dad's completely original 1969 GTX 440 with the 727. He bought it brand-new when he came back from Vietnam he died in 1985 of cancer. The only Parts on the car that have been changed are wearable parts. Was that last one a satellite

See the blue one at 1:39? A 69 RR should be air shocks lifted in the back with meats, most muscle were in the 70s in So. Calif. Cragars and Mickey Thompsons or something meaty. Ok, I'll order me a new 69 GTX 440 (surprise me), stick shift, RED, black stripes, black landau top, black interior, bucket seats, 4:10 or so. Later I'll need headers and a few things, including those sweet chrome hood pins, for touch. I need cool floor mats, SUN Tach, 8-track. Hot chicks, good drive-in movies, many won street races, no tickets and no accidents. Oh and I need to go back in time and be a groovy free 25 year old again. AND GO TO COLLEGE YOU HIPPY!!!

One question to the audience ... in the movie Thunderbolt&Lightfoot (Eastwood/Bridges) 1974 .. they take a ride with a supposedly crazy guy in a wild lifted growling black thing (with white rabbits in the trunk) .. was that car a Roadrunner as well ? . I had a 1970 Coronet 440 RT believe it or not I paid $76 40 cents in Royal Arkansas thing was clean as hey whistle the guy was moving to Indiana and had four other cars that was the one that he couldn't take and that's how much cash I had on my hands drove it out to California sold it to my brother for $80 for a plane ticket back to Arkansas I think I would have been better off staying in California and keeping the car lessons we learned in life so I'm good some bad well that was a bad decision on getting rid of that car 😜😳🙉🙈🙊🏁🏁🏁

Half of these cars are Road Runners, and half are Satellites (the poor man's road runner). If the tail light has metal trim in the middle, that's a Plymouth Satellite.

Videos like this are awesome but please, a Plymouth Road Runner doesn’t sound like this, a modified race car sounds like this. Even a 426 Hemi Road Runner from the factory doesn’t sound like this or have that kind of power. If you modify any kind of car, it is no longer that brand of car.
