Celtic board happy to be at the party in champions league with the odd result against one of the big guns they will NOT change their wage structure it's as simple as that,they do need to give BR cash for a few signings and it does need to be better than last time,that's for sure,give the man proper tools to let him enjoy his work because he is without doubt a class act manager which we are lucky to have tbh! #hail #hail❤❤❤

No matter what supporters say, Celtic will maintain the financial model they use. After Martin o Neil era, they were left with high debt. That was a lesson learned,so they will not go there.

i saw jorge olguin's 1978 world cup winning argentina top on ebay a year or 2 ago. the less remembered players stuff is obviously not as desirable but i think it was about 50k. loved that top, almost looked like knitted wool, but not enough to part with that kinda dosh.

I work in a football stadium on matchdays and also do a bit of youth coaching. I had to have PVG checks done. If I had ANY kind of criminal record, I would be barred from both activities and yet, wee Davie Martindale gets to do what he does

What Malky McKay did was, albeit morally reprehensible, was miles and miles less offensive than what Martindale did and as Gannon said there, only 3 of the 8 texts were sent by MvKay

if you sign players at a weekly wage of 50k , year 2.6 x 4 years 10.4 million. sign 5= 52.m buying cost 9= 45million total= 97.million. But you don't have anymore lay out for those players for the next 4 years. Win the league, CL next 4 years we will call it 70m over 4 years=280m....We can do this if we lose 2 leagues and win 2 thats still a total of 140m. i know we need to pay other players but the revenue is there. gather all money for evey players wage and put 4 years of wages away to cover the players. then give Rodgers his kitty which has to cover 4 years of wages. Then we have no player bills for the next 4 years as well as earning intrest on the wages money thats gaining interest in the bank. This now can be done because of the new CL set up and we have not even sold a player yet. The money and the rewards are there and now is the correct time to act. 4 year plan everything covered and cash rolling in for the next 4 years. Then we have TV, sponsor, advertising, ticket sales and all the other money makers like selling players and merchandise. Would actually work the 4 year player plan off a 5 year wage and payment plan. Giving the club a 1 year safety net. Then we have the other running costs and overheads to cover.....But the cash should be there and the next 4 years is all profit and thats when we can compete with some of the EPL clubs.
