To those who are complaining about unemployement: Based on the data published by EPFO "During the financial year 2022-23, around 1.39 crore net members have been added by EPFO with an increase of 13.22% compared to the previous financial year 2021-22 wherein EPFO had added approximately 1.22 crore net members." Quoting from the report published by Economic times based on the same dataset of EPFO : "Net new enrollments under the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation in 2021-22 SURPASSED ALL RECORDS and stood at 12.2 million compared to 7.71 million in 2020-21, 7.8 million in 2019-20 and 6.11 million in 2018-19, suggesting a sharp rise in formal job creation in the country." "Together, the 18-25 years age-group constituted around 45.96% of total net enrolments during the month, indicating that many FIRST TIME JOB seekers have joined the organised sector workforce in large numbers, it added."
