Because the ICC doesn’t have a high system to petition, but the ICC didn’t do a fair due process. When was the last time you seen a court mention its finding on live footage before submission of paper. These judges are a joke and thank God we (The US) can do something about it. Shame on the ICC. I am not Israeli or Jewish and I know this is completely wrong. Netanyahu has committed awful crimes, but not in this war he warned the world that they will do what it takes and he said there will be no refuge for Hamas, he warned, but Hamas stood in residential areas anyways. People need to look up the word War and the legal rules of war.

It's been 7 months of documented and viewed by millions worth of horrific acts by the IDF. Would have been great to have a german journalist in the discussion. The expression of an "inequivalent experience of equivalence" has it's merit, but my impression is that the case is horribly under-reported in general in germany. The approach against public protest is also surprisingly harsh. The situation doesn't seem to evolve.

Very good discussion. The UNRWA lawyer seems to be very sympathetic towards Gaza. He mentioned 75 years. He worked as a legal personnel for two decades. I have one question for him. Where was his legal mind when Hamas was using aid money to build tunnels, buying weapons for killing Israelis, for not building infrastructures in Gaza? Who made the rule that the west is above the law? The west tarnishes its image and integrity globally by its hypocritic attitude. If war criminals from the west and its allies don't get indicted, it sends a very wrong message about the so-called rules based order. The global south wouldn't respect it so it would be a huge precedent if the west obstructs justice.
