@@aseemagarwal9493 there was a point during the premiership of Liz Truss where it was expected that she would resign within a week, which also happens to be the length of a lettuce's shell life. a British newspaper then started a livestream featuring a lettuce and wanted to determine whether that lettuce would go bad before she resigned. she resigned before the lettuce died and it has since become the best joke in all of British politics for 2022 and probably for years to come.

Rishi isn't defending a criminal, but offering another chance to someone despite their blunder, and it should be seen as it is, not taken out of context as if he's in support of crime! I'm from Canada and I'm watching this for the first time. We have Question Period here too, and while the political model is exactly the same (we're a former colony, after all), I find the difference in culture interesting. Especially the fact that British MPs say "Hear hear" and "yea" in parliament. It gives a renaissance feel to it.

I feel like we're watching Harry and Malfoy going head on with each other. The important part about all this is seeing the outcomes and not just watching drama day in and day out. Knowing what policies are being implemented and what the outcomes will be---that is what I prefer to hear and watch.
