I've been looking at various guitar presentations for a while now, and looking at them, and come to the conclusion that Sandberg basses are the only ones I'd like to buy. To me, they represent the true measure of overall quality, sound, finish, better than Fender, Music man... kind of like the Ibanez Musician MC series from the early eighties. The Sandberg California is the perfect bass, suitable for all types of music, from soft jazz and folk to thrash metal and hard core punk. They even managed to solve the headstock problem very successfully, to be both traditional and modern (something that PRS never managed). After watching this video and seeing the man behind it, it's clear to me why that is. Brilliant man!

my Sandberg is such a well made instrument, sounds killer too! its the only bass my kids aren't allowed to touch, or even look at.

Has Sandberg done a video on how the Sandberg TT Panther Macassar Wood top bass was made. I just bought a 2013 Macassar. And would love to see how it was made.
