This is the best hybrid system for boats We’re use to having hybrid cars and love the fuel consumption, now RR of boats in hybrid. Just love it.

Other than the low noise, an electric motor offers no advantages over the diesel. With boats, there's no regenerative braking and using the diesels to recharge the batteries, then using the batteries to power the boat is much less efficient than just plain using the diesels. This is just a pricey option for low noise.

Hmmm? Sweet dayboat. But...never heard coming? Was that because Greenline's hybrid was so quiet?

Correct me I'm wrong but Greenline has been leading this technology fo the past 10 years, only difference is jet drive vs, v drive or podds.

Drive a hybrid car, or even one of the many non-hybrids with auto start/stop, and you'll get used to that feeling of the engine quitting on its own. It's just new in a boat.
