What should the co2 level be. I have boiler gas analyser in my van that I use to test emissions from gas boiler flues. When you have pneumonia is it possible be be walking around steady for the day, then suddenly feel extremely poorly and suffering with the gas exchange.. I was told I have pneumonia and I can't shake it off since Xmas. I had a chest X-ray, and they said all was fine. Mei scan would have been better I would have thought.

I have been a nurse for 13 years in the US and never have i seen anyone with a possible pneumonia have bronchoscopy done. Not to diagnose pneumonia.

This is all that is currently available with our technology. Perhaps in another 10 or 20 years we will have more treatment options available, but this is it as far as FDA approved treatments are concerned.

@@VoidHalo its true not all antibiotic works for pneumonia my daughter had pneumonia 6 months ago doctor gave her antibiotic for 10 days pneumonia still there after 10days then they mke xray they said it become tuberculosis now shes taking medicine for tb shes now on 3rd month then they mke xray the results pneumonia its always coming baq to pneumonia..i ken feel her penumonia is not cause by bacteria either virus or fungus

We do nearly all of our broncs under conscious sedation/local, very rarely with the patient asleep

Great video (as always)! I have a question though: you say there is no treatment for penumonia if it is caused by a virus, but what about anti-viral drugs? They don`t work against the viruses that usually causes pneumonia? Thank you!

There actual is a treatment if you go to the hospital they will probably give you IV antibiotics and then prescribe you antibiotics to get rid of your pneumonia

Thanks for the response Adria! Didn`t see it before now! I don`t really undestand what you are saying because I was referring to viruses and you are mentioning antibiotics which are against bacteria. Do you mean that they would AB against viruses?

@@imakemusique I think he is mistaken. Anti-viral is not for all viruses. Many diseases of virus are incurable. It's been 3 yr so I think you it.

I thought bacterial pneumonia was the most common cause of pneumonia in the community setting (and generally)? Viral pneumonia is only common in children?

Pretty sure bacteria is the most common cause of pneumonia not viruses

My sister died because of pneumonia..1week ago ... she applied alovera mixed with curd to her hair and she bathed after 1hr nly... meanwhile she ate chicken.... after 2 days she had fever ... because of applying mixture she got fever ah sir ????? Does this cause pneumonia ????
