I can't believe Alan was the one who suggested cutting this thats insane

This movie is always better with the song in it than without it, and it’s the only time I like a Disney movie with an extra song! In other words, I like this song better than “Human Again” in Beauty and the Beast and “Morning Report” in the Lion King!

I'd never blame Mr. Menken, although I may be nice to him.

Makes no sense to have cut it and still something that makes me so mad that they did. This movie was clearly aimed at a more adult audience, so why would they care if kids were being antsy? Put it back in - though honestly, the reprise (as featured in the 10th anniversary edition) is a bit awkward. The original version of the reprise is much better and also available on KZfaq to watch.
