Enemies for illuminati sections have G18 90+ enemies so please do keep this in mind in terms of the expectation here unless they make changes to the nodes next week. If you are now considering this I would HIGHLY recommend waiting until next week before levelling anyone up so we know exactly what is going on.

Former pass buyer here (80 bucks a month), I stopped buying them after the CB fiasco. I'll keep playing F2P with whatever is possible but I am not gonna spend 1 more dollar on this game anymore.

Scopely always finds a way to F things up for players. I don't know who in that office makes those decisions and who says "yeah, you're right! We're gonna do exactly that!" It's like they don't hear or even care about the players at all.

it's not just the DEATH of F2P. it's also the death of low to mid spenders. people spend $80 on the passes and that won't get you cb properly a low star Odin if you're lucky

I've been playing since just after Mantis had been released ... and I ve never taken any controversies seriously. Even Cap Britain. I assume he'll be available in a few months. But I might be tapping out. If when pocket dimension comes around and i m locked out of game play that will be it. Tbh this game is becoming a hassle instead of a passtime. If they lock me out of gameplay because i don't think $120 canadian per character is good value i guess there is no point. (And i buy battlepasses)

They backed themselves into a corner. They made the gap between f2p and spenders so vast that spenders mostly only compete against each other. They had to change to paradigm to whales vs light spenders, and left f2p totally out of the equation. We are barely more than an afterthought

Even if the rewards was 3 diamonds for Mr. Fantastic, Iron Man and Black Bolt... I would still be sketchy about buying Hank. 🤔🤔🤔

This feels like they are again trying to follow Star Wars GOH. They have pay only events. They did the same kind of ramping up to acquire legendary characters etc.

If it wasn't for the fact that I like several members of my alliance and don't want to screw them over when we are already hurting with recruitment, I would have quit. I might still. I'm sick of the Bi-weekly unskippable character releases and trying to keep up with that. RNG is terrible. And this whole thing with illuminati is crap. I literally opened an Antman orb earlier and got 20 black bolt shards, for my maxed black bolt. I'm not giving Scopely money so I can play this game.

Sounds like WWE Champions (another SCOPLEY game) a portion of the game is F2P and most of the events set for P2P. The events became almost unplayable (which led me to MSF). Looks like they're applying a similar formula. Kraken > Whales > Dolphins > Fish (F2P) > Bait (Noobs). The group with the advantage tries to stay on top and the others trying to move up to compete with the next echelon.

Funny, I decided this morning I am done with the game and informed my alliance. That was before the news about the pocket dimension. The new Game directer is clearly at war with F2P and light spenders, and after 6 years I am one of the casualties. It was an interesting ride, that's for sure. Luckily, Watcher of Realm is taking its spot.

This feels like a Mobile Game in it's death throes. There doubling down heavy on the big spenders to milk as much money before they throw the switch and killing all support and new content.

The rewards you get doesn't even come close to the price of Hank Pym. They are just being straight up greedy. Probably a lot less spending going on, so they want to force you to pay. I've spent money inthe past, but only because I WANTED to, not because I HAD to. Once you take away that decision it only sparks outrage.

Death of F2P was when they started doing campaign missions with characters behind paywalls. It was fun while it lasted

i get why everyone is pissed about this..i am aswell btw but all it means is we all just skip this team and corresponding events and rewards, which is shitty AF on their part but the main downside to that would usually be other people doing the content and levelling up the team getting the rewards and in essence gaining an advantage over people who didn’t but this time the only people who’ll have them is the whales and they always have the advantage anyway lol

i got a 4 star hank pym (75 of 130) by spending $10 on the orbs in the store (2 @ 4.99 for 22k shards)

I'm ftp and I destroy most krakens and whales because they just aren't as skilled most of the time. FTP complans and Scopely says "Get Gud" but heavy spenders complain and Scopely locks players out of content. It's not that I'm against paying for a game, it's that their pricing was always way to high. Even if it wasn't always buggy, poorly communicated, and had flat out major screw ups on new content and releases. My hobby car and fish tanks are less of a money pit. When I played collectable card games I spent less money and had more fun. I value character shards at a penny a piece personally. I'd buy the passes for a dollar. But need to fix your game 1st. Not spending anything on a broke game.

Scopely need investigating. Pure and simple. This is exploiting players, not to mention if you buy orbs. Its gambling, and the rules differ from country to country. But they need reporting and investivating, we've seen larger gaming companies investigated and more.
