New minimalist setup for my everyday carry Traveler’s Company Passport size notebook. Bullet Journaling is a great method to keep your EDC notebook organized.

That front pocket will never not be genius to me! I used to not like pockets in inserts. Since once you’re done w/ the insert, the pocket goes away w/ it! 🤣 However, recently I’ve been needing to store specific papers & scraps w/ inserts. So now an insert pocket comes in clutch! Why I LOVE LOVE LOVE this system sm, it’s custom & DIYable. 🤩🥰🌟💫

I love the notion of tracking purchases as needs versus wants! It's so simple, but I see how it can make a big difference. I'm in the process of changing up my planning system for the mid-year shift, and I'm going to give this a try. Thanks, Jack!

I rly like how you have a simpler set up! I’m one of those artsy girlies & decorate my planner/bujo. I deco for myself, since I’ve tried plenty of simpler setups & none ever worked. Up until I tried mixing in scrapbooking.🤩 Nonetheless, I’m very open minded & love seeing what others different from me do. It also gives me loads of Inspo on the functionality of my setup. Since it can be hard to find a planner that is both pretty & functional. I like to keep the bones simple, & embellishments maximal.🥳🤩😎✨

I wish I were more artistic. I do occasionally glue a cigar band in😅

I am glad I came across this video. The distant future log isn’t something I considered before today. And the pockets are something I also will be trying in my next set up.

Thank you for watching my video. The distant future log came about when my wife let her passport expire. I’ve got my drivers license, passport, ham radio license and concealed carry license logged in mine.

The standard TN is the same length as A5 but not as wide. A5 is 148mm x 210mm, standard TN is 110mm x 210mm.

@@SigogglinJack I've been following your channel from the beginning & actually find myself looking forward to your videos. I also have 1 passport and 1 standard. I don't decorate, either. So, quite a few similarities lol. Thanks for the useful & entertaining videos!

does the knot from the elastic band bother you when write on that side of the journal?
@SigogglinJack9 күн бұрын
At first I thought it was going to but the back cover of the notebook is stiff enough that I don’t even notice it unless I’m really bearing down. Thanks for watching!

Where did the little fabric insert come from? I'm fascinated by how you created the pockets. I would have never thought of folding the page over so it would be reinforced. But then, Im horrible at crafting. I like the tabletop color in this video. Is it a cover? It creates a real nice look. My Daddy had a pipe stand like that, although not nearly as many pipes.
@SigogglinJack9 күн бұрын
Thanks Teresa. The pouch is made by Moterm. I ordered it from Amazon. The table top cover is a vinyl gun cleaning mat. I found the pipe stand in an antique shop many years ago. Thanks so very much for watching.

I’m not a huge fan of the plastic inserts. I used to love them, but their novelty has worn off on me. 😅 Their zipper bulky & sharp. I’ve cut myself & indented my cover multiple times. I also find they don’t last as long. 2 YTers I’ve seen own one for 8+ years find it yellows & falls apart over time. Ig the plastic gets brittle & UV gets to it.🫤 Fabric inserts are best, imo. Since they last longer & are more repairable. I make my own since Ik how to sew. I love your setup! 🤩
@SigogglinJack9 күн бұрын
I’m looking forward to seeing how the fabric one works out for me. It looks classier than the plastic one. Thanks
