What I used to do is use the strings only on the back cover of both the weekly and the daily. Now I just put the daily on the last string and then put the weekly on top not on the string and when I close the planner it’s quite secure. The TN I use is the eternal leather goods cover though so it has a snap closure. Whenever I remove the daily to write in it’s difficult cuz I also have soft covers so only the weekly I leave not on the strings so that it’s easier to write in cuz the daily is so bulky. I can’t write in either of them when they are both in there together. I hope I made sense. lol! Btw - I loved watching this!

I subscribed! I could always use a coach. I love CS, and pocket size is my favorite! However, this year so far I am using a passport size. I love TN's. I think the very first way you put this together is the best way. I like it with the daily in the back, the weekly in the middle, and the miscellaneous in the middle. I think it hugs everything so nicely! It did seem like you could write ok in your daily that way as well. Also, I always put the elastic string over my pen when I close my TN. It makes it more secure, and compact, and like a brick. haha I am glad you didn't cut anything out. I am enjoying watching you figure all of this out. This is exactly what we all do when we get our new TN's. lol

Someone may have said something on the premier chat, but the double string is actually meant for two different inserts. Using just one string would help with the struggle getting it on the book.

Hi Randi! I have the same pocket plus with a similar setup. I put the back cover of the weekly through the first string and the back cover of the daily through the last string. I have a field notes size insert in the middle. The pocket plus is six strings, not four, so you don't have to double up on the strings. Hope this helps.

FYI, Create With Pen has actual pocket size 5.5x3.5 spiral notebooks that have 100gsm paper! They are awesome. In fact, they may still be 40% off today, not sure.

Moleskine paper is so hit and miss rn. Mines hideous.
