Vikram is found dead at his residence holding a cell phone and a dried monkey's paw. He only leaves a voice message on his phone which helps the police reach Col. Mukherjee, an acquaintance. Col. visits a friend named Anjum and tells them about the paw and the power it possesses. He warns them not to ask for any wish, or the consequences will not be good. Later Anjum makes a wish which is indeed granted but at a high cost, thereby depicting that one should never try to tamper the flow of fate.
