I do PD every day in the summer. I’m always reading a PD book everyday and finding online conferences. Twitter is also wonderful. Yes to the library video! I’m moving from fourth grade math and science to second! I’m most excited about all the books I’ve purchased this summer. My library needs a major overhaul whenever we go back.

I like the idea of keeping a list of things that come to mind, as well as using those pockets of time to go through screen shots as I too am guilty of not going back and looking at them. I have been reading a few PD books this summer and it has really helped refocus my creative energy as I plan for next year. Books are great, but I agree, connecting with other educators online/in person is a great way to get new ideas! I save a lot of ideas on my phone for later, but running them by other teachers helps me sort through what is REALLY worth trying. Thanks for sharing!

I was avoiding this video, but I enjoyed it! I think it's a nice balance of what to do during the summer. I've been doing similar things to you. I have reclaimed my schedule of working out, PD (which I'm done with by the way!!), and moderate room idea gathering. I use Google Keep to store my screenshots and move them to a Must Do/May Do list once it gets closer to my start date. Keep up your motivating work!

The books are free. You just need to weed through them. I would love to see how you set up your library. And have you ever done videos on how to create tpt materials.
