As a father of two lovely girls his day starts early with some dad duties, continues with surfing and food to wrap up the morning, onto some work at the NB# HQ, and a session at the original Cherry Park obstacles to wrap it up. We even got to see his old pro boards from the Popwar days and lots of more treasures.
This episode was long overdue. For one of our very first episodes, we followed Franky Villani. That day we planned to follow Chad when we would be back in down. No sooner said than done - last Fall we got to hang out with Chad for a day. He's one of our personal favorites forever and now his amazing skating is backed up by his amazing personality.

I mean don't get it twisted this is obviously only one day in his life and ment to represent it in a positive manner. I am sure Chad has the same challenges we all have. This doesn't mean his life isn't amazing, just want to point out that nobody's bullet proof and it's totally normal to have days that suck. Just wanted to quickly put it out there. In the days of Social Media we tend to forget these things. Much love❤️

Love is not the tolerance of evil. Jesus never tolerated evil. You broke your own rule by being selective about things you heard about the Bible, not something you actually read in it.

@LiberdadeBatora Funnily enough I recall him saying that the song was originally supposed to be used by Rob Welsh in "Free Your Mind". Suffice to say I think it fits better here and Welsh was better suited also with FRISCO!

@PocketSkateboardingMagazine Yeah, and I think the part really encapsulated that new and refreshing style and image of Transworld videos (which really started with First Love) where everything (skater choice, editing, aesthetics etc.) was just miles ahead of the game!

I think it was around 2003 and I was still in HS. Chad rolled up to a spot we were skating at and I didn't have a solid day but he stopped and gave me some tips. This video brought me back to that moment in remembering his personality

Lbc had a sick diy spot called lb free and I got to skate with Chad and the countless other epic skaters that live in Long Beach. Keep it rolling Tim Tim, your skating will always be refreshing to watch 🤙👊

I ran into Chad at a spot in lake forest in 2002. He was doing nollie half cab crooks on a curved ledge. First time I’ve ever been star struck by a skater. Best style
