Great Kalle ! I missed this live one. I like cylinder :) (By the way, dials are not made onto brass but with coper, the glass enamel couldn't survive brass dilation while cooling after melting. Usually double sided enameled to ensure homogenous cooling which doesn't torque the dial and break it.) ;) Thanks for sharing :) Bruno

Magnificent watch Kalle. Great to see you at work. Ironically I just finished a movement very similar called a Fontainemelon, but it was in a solid silver case. I was worried about using ultrasonic so cleaned it by hand. Would ultrasonic be ok to clean a gilt movement? And also I added some 9415 (just a tiny dot) to every 3 or 4 teeth on the escapement. hi master, I have a problem, with a pocket watch, cylinder escapement, the watch works great! the wheels without scales, turn very well, at the top! but when I put the scale on, the clock runs for a few hours, after which the second hand stops, at the same point, 8 o'clock, I don't understand why it stops! after that everything is okay! I have seen the rubies of the bridge of the Balance, and they are okay! then i saw the cylinder and it's okay! I tried to adjust the escapement…. but but nothing! what can be the problem? In a situation where the brass has been worn down by a steel pin- would it be possible to remake the brass part out of steel?- I have heard many people mentioning this problem and I know the making a bushing and replacing it theory is the most common answer but I've never heard of anyone attempt to replicate the part out of steel- or for that matter why not press fit a steel bushing rather than a brass one?

Should be copper (the dial back) as you cannot enamel brass.
