Poco is just a sub-brand of Xiaomi. You can pick whatever you want.

It's mainly well know for two things (One good and One bad) there's obviously more but take this comment as an intro Good: Price and Specs (Overall worth is Great) Bad: Bloatware and Ads, But you can uninstall bloatware and disable ads. Will take around 3-5 mins or something no biggie
