Is the Poco X3 Pro having the dead issue?
Previously I had experienced this brick issue on my Oneplus 6 where a new os update completely bricked my phone and the service Center off the bat told me it needed a new motherboard. Thus I was forced to purchase a new phone and got the POCO X3 PRO in December 2021. Fast forward to December 2022 as of writing this yesterday my phone went into a boot loop and the service Center flushed it with a new OS and tonight it went full brick. I am lucky it is under warranty with only 7 days left in its warranty period XD. Also, Poco has offered an extended 6 months warranty so not an issue. But the stress factor here is I and many others will have to wait without a phone until it is repaired and god knows if the new motherboard will be able to handle the MIUI 13
EDIT(11/12/22):- As of today, It’s been 7 working days since my phone has been at my nearest Xiaomi Service center. I contacted the service center and they said “It will take up to 45 days to replace the motherboard” Which is absurd and under no circumstances am I waiting that long. I have rented a Samsung A20s for 1K a month and trust me the One UI 3.1 is really nice. Anyways back to Poco and their sham. I spoke to the POCO helpline and their customer representatives said that in case within 10 days the device is not repaired they will replace it with a new device. Now I have to wait for 10 working days just to give them more room and I will wait for 14 days and then call their customer care line.
EDIT(02/01/23) :- Happy new year to all those reading and sorry if your POCO/MI/any made in china device has brought you here, So far the service center where I have submitted my device has asked for another 15 days which makes it a total of 45 days of waiting. And the online customer care of Poco has asked me to wait till the end of date ( i.e 2nd of jan ) after which they can provide me a deadline. So I am eternally screwed between the so called customer care of poco and Mi Service center
EDIT(25/01/23) :- Got a brief call from the Xiaomi Backend team after 100 calls to the service center and customer care executive both of whom had no clue what happened to my device. Today the backend team informed me that my device will be fixed within 0-8 days. I immediately contacted the service center and they said that within a week the motherboard will arrive at their service center and I can collect my device the very same day. However, I do plan on pursuing my consumer forum case against Xiaomi if time persists. If anyone of you have legal experience please reach out to me.
EDIT (01/02/23) :-finally received my device. The IMEI number has changed proving a new motherboard. The device still has a MIUI13 onboard which is scary as it could drop dead any minute. I will try my best to sell off this device. My samsung A20s continues to be my backup phone and is really doing well considering it to be 4 years old. Anyways this is probably the last edit I do this post.
EDIT (25/04/23) :- Like I had predicted it didn’t drop dead but there are significant issues popping up across the board, mainly the gyroscope is lagging at times followed by erratic Bluetooth and wifi connectivity. And no my wifi nor my Bluetooth is acting up it’s the device. Where as the SamsungA20s is holding up pretty well for a device that is 3 years old XD

Save up and purchase an Apple device or go for Samsung as they have a brand to defend unlike these Chinese manufacturers who sprout a new brand every Tuesday.
