I had mine almost 4 months now. Some comments: - Never noticed the loud speaker issue myself. Volume seems ok. - Using a cover case, so vibrations or durability is not an issue - Been using contactless payments since day 1, still working great! (google pay) - Always had stable data connection - System lag - this I do have. Sometimes after long uptime (weeks), I can see the system is noticeably laggy, even after killing all apps. After a reboot it's silky smooth again. Suspect this is some MIUI issue. - I had the yellow chrome issue. Thanks for the fix! - In the first weeks, I could never connect to my Chromecasts without rebooting the phone first. Suddenly after about a month it started working. Probably some software update solved the issue. Overall I'm really happy with the phone. A bit big and heavy, and the camera isn't flagship-quality, but good enough for most use cases. Great screen, battery life and speed. I paid $200 for 64GB, and it's no doubt the best value phone I've bought so far.

I would like to help about the NFC payments that if it doesn't work you need to go to NFC settings and you go to "Secure element position" you change it HCE walllet or Sim wallet. Which one of the two is working correctly and you are good to go.... 👍

All of these happened to my poco x3. Specifically the mobile data issue. It has full 4G+ signal but it wont load anything. You have to restart the signal data and it would resolve the issue.

Also it had poor range on 5Ghz wifi mode which is really important for gaming. I guess it was an issue of MU-MIMO function. Now with MIUI 12.0.7 update, it is completely fixed. I can use 5Ghz wifi anywhere from my medium sized apartment.

Great review. Knowing about these issues I still ordered the poco x3, for only 186€ I couldn't resist the hardware specs and I hope I won't regret it. Luckily most of these problems have fixes and I mostly use a headset for talking on the phone anyways(allthough I would still prefer the volume to be adjustable without rooting it of course!). I wish xiaomi would put some more budget into software updates that could fix the lags in the UI and also the caller volume. But I doubt they will pump more resources into their budget phone considering they havent done so yet even though these problems have been known for quite some time now. I am looking forward to see which issues I will have when i unbox it in 4 days.

Some Problems That I Encounter While Using The Poco X3 NFC: -Sometimes when you shift the phone to landscape mode, a black dot (similar to the notch camera) will appear symetrically on landscape mode. -In the game 'Plants Vs. Zombies 2,' I've noticed that the fullscreen mode does not work properly for ghost and static animations will appear on the left side of the phone while on landscape mode. -Some applications don't work properly on fullscreen mode while on landscape mode and you cannot turn it off on the device's settings. -120 HZ Refresh Rate is not consistent yet that's not really a problem to me for I used 60 HZ Refresh Rate as it saves more battery and since I am not a gamer. To be honest, 60 HZ refresh rate still manages to work the same way as the 120 HZ refresh rate. That's why I highly recommend to use the 60 HZ refresh rate instead of the 120 HZ refresh rate. -When I watched movies and videos on Netflix and KZfaq, the FHD+ feature of the phone's display is not consistent although the video was set to 1080 P. -Although it has a liquid-cool technology, POCO X3 NFC sometimes experiences heating issues although I haven't done much anything with the phone. -It is not a problem yet as expexted with what Xiaomi had advertised, POCO X3 NFC is not that capable for outdoor use as the maximum brightness of the phone can only cater up to 450 Nits and is not a SUPER AMOLED DISPLAY. -Unlike other mid-range smartphones, POCO X3 NFC renders a not so satisfying picture/video quality when you're activating the Night Mode. As an advise, you must need an additional light for you to capture more vivid and high picture/video quality while on night mode. -When shifting from rear camera to front camera and vice versa, it takes two to three seconds for the phone to finally shift it to the designated camera setup. -The phone is a bit heavy and bulky in comparison to other mid-range smartphones. However, I've been expecting that before I bought the phone online due to its 5160 MAH battery that adds to its overall weight. (P.S. We have similar problems yet I added other problems that I discovered while using the POCO X3 NFC.) My Verdict: If you're a type of user that looks for a mid-range smartphone with good specifications and valuable price, POCO X3 NFC is a highly-recommended phone for you although there are minimal disadvantages with the phone as what I have mentioned above and with what AZRV TECH have experienced. A good video, i liked that you added time marks for video. I have poco x3 and yes it has very load ear piece by default but in my case getting the volume of call halfway through fixes it. Yellow screen is a problem too but that turned out to be of chrome and finally i got rid of it. Thanks to you. Hi I've been using the Poco x3 for about 2 months now and for some of the problems you're facing, i think i can provide the answer: 04:01 the lag is because when you stop using the screen, the MIUI software lowers the frame rate of your phone in order to preserve the phones battery, it then raises the frame rates again once you start using it, the sudden change is what causes the lag for a little moment, but it wont persist if you're continuously using the phone. Personally i dont mind it cause i know its protecting my battery but i can imagine if some people are bothered by this. 04:38 the yellow screen did scare me initially because i thought my phone was defective and it definitely scared the crap out of me. But other than this happening in chrome, it will also happen on other Apps and the culprit is the color scheme (in display settings) of the phone....which would be set to Auto and changes the color of the screen to make it easy on the eyes...now this is a simple case of something that was meant to be a good afterthought scaring the crap out the users instead. The Problem will disappear if you set the color scheme to standard. i hope this info helps.

Totally same problems, thank you for summarizing them. 1. Mobile data - Terrible at places where other phones can detect (not coverage problem) 2. Wifi (5Ghz) - Poor connection and notification telling no internet 3. Vibrating and Speaker loudness + Breaking sound distortion with some game apps 4. (Only use 60 frames)Stuttering after a few days use, and not because of heavy usage 5. Google Store error DFH need to stop process time to time

My biggest problem with this phone is battery life. I don't get how a 5000mah battery can drain 2x faster than my 3000mah Mi A1. I'm literally charging the phone 2 to 3 times a day, with 60hz and adaptive brightness...

I actually like that the phone vibrates ! I noticed it first when I was playing music on KZfaq and it felt awesome in the hand ! Because it gave the music an added dimension. It enhanced the feel of the bass and the music in general ! (For me anyway). I've had no problem with the internet or yellowing screen. I've never used the NFC on it so I don't know if that's a problem. And I haven't noticed the earpiece volume. Overall I'm really happy with this phone and it is one of the best phones I've ever had ! My number one was the Poco F1 Armoured Edition with Kevlar back on it ! That phone was beastly ! Unfortunately it was stolen in 2019 otherwise I'd still have it ! 😟

I don't remember having these problems on 12.0.4 except the sound vibration to a small degree. What I did have, however, is unbalanced stereo sound with audio being stronger from the bottom speaker (introduced in 12.0.4 to remedy the vibration problem). This is the one reason I decided to go custom.

The only Problems i had wit it was: One time i could not hear the person on the other end of the line but after a reboot it was fixt. The second thing is the point you have spoken about i got sand between phone and case that scratched my back a little. Other than that i had no problems with my Poco X3. PS: Nice video and thank you for the fixes i personly don`t ned them because mine runs smothly but it might be relevant for other people.

Once I started mobile gaming for long periods of time, the screen just stopped responding and started automatically clicking on random places on the screen without me touching it. I am not sure if this is a case of a faulty phone or it's a design problem, but when it happens rarely, it makes the phone unusable. I am not certain what the cause is but my guess is that it is related to the heating of the phone when running heavy games on it for a long period of time.

I've encountered quite a few software bugs with this phone. In an effort to make it cheap, they completely skimped out on user testing. MIUI is a nice aesthetic but it's not polished underneath.

Yes the network problem was unacceptable. I fixed it using the same technique u showed in the vdo.

I will check the problem with no Internet tomorrow. Have a place where i have no real internet, but 1 km away i have LTE. Hope i can fix it with that what you showing. Why you use not this clear case that was given in new box? I bought me a special case with staying and in hand holding function and it looks awesome and it is perfect for this. The night modus with yellow color i have not. I use a special Pen to work with the phone. It is fantastic. I have it now since 5 Days and be happy. Only what i find not so good is the weight. Thanks for the video, only specific MIUI system lag and Yellow screen affect me, and yellow screen isn't even the phone issue (thank you for providing the solution!). Don't have issue with Mobile network unstable, have not tried contact-less payment so idk. Overall happy with my purchase, I got it for USD$200 equivalent for 6/128 version, is great for its price really.

Problems i have, #1 on phone call other caller can't hear me but I hear them. The fix is download a different dialer. #2 screen time out too fast. #3 call of duty mobile game goes black screen. #4 trouble focusing camera ,i download another camera #4 just realized camera shoots 16mp photos by default, 64mp option is turned on by pushing "more" button. 🥴

Apart from the aforementioned problems, I found these problems in my unit: 1. The notification shade is choppy. Sometimes it overlaps with the home screen. 2. Services app suddenly stopped working. It doesn't even open. 3. My phone's camera seems to be a faulty one. It has focusing issue. Sometimes it takes lot of effort (tap) to focus on the subject. 4. Ram management is not very good. I feel like my old Honor 8 is better at ram management than this phone. 5. Battery life is not very good considering its huge 6000mah capacity.

I got xioami poco x3 and I will be honest , the phone is great at gaming and the video quality is great , the sound quality is loud and clear , and the 120 experience is awesome , but !! There is some software issues , like when changing between camera modes is kinda slow and takes time to change , same thing in video mode . I , for my self faced a problem which is whenever i change to wide lens in video mode the screen freezes and stays still , the same thing with "ultra steady mode " And xiaomi said that this issues going to be fixed in the next android11 update which will be available soon . Other than this its completely amazing , the launcher is what i love the most , the battery is good , its holds the day , and it will holds better if u turn the 120 off , So yeah , thats it , now u decide

Yellow screen, I already encountered. However, the laggy gesture is my main problem and it's quite irritating.

I think the back ground vibration is not a problem for gamers cause we are want feel every bite of game.

Great value for money. Everything is working normally now after almost a year. No lag NFC perfect. Like a PC, I retrieve useless old files from memory.

Just picked one up because on sale and it's what was in stock. Put on a stock A11 rom and rooted the device. Vibrates on loud volume a bit, although manageable with the silicone cover imho (maybe because mine is still fresh and new). Did not have to change the gammut in chrome (maybe they changed the default?) so no yellow screen. LTE 4 an 5 work out of the box.

I have a tp link router too. Been two years, working without a hitch. Cheers.

for me, I had a problem accessing pdf with white background during POCO's dark mode. the result is a white background turning into grey colour or a dim colour. I thought something was wrong with my pdf, turned out it was due to POCO's dark mode. and when I'm accessing youtube's app, I swipe down and turn dark mode on, POCO automatically returns to homescreen (auto-quit) to activate dark mode. and I had to go to the youtube app again.

Did u facing the fast charging problem.. I heard some of the users said they can't have fast charging feature after few weeks or months of usage

Can i buy it for professional gaming?

Since I'm someone who likes to stick to one phone for all my daily tasks, I use my poco x3 pro for official use as well. In every other way, the phone is a beast but when it comes to opening pdfs, the phone makes me choose from 3 different apps, none of which is 3rd party. It then either keeps loading or it says something in chinese and stops attempting to open the file. Another problem I face almost daily is that files fail to attach when i try to mail, upload or share them via any app. Eg. I end up trying 4 different ways to attach and send a doc: 1. Direct clipping the attachment via whatsapp. 2. I use the files app, find and try to share the doc via whatsapp or gmail. 3. I try to find the doc in the whatsapp folder in the Android folder if i want to forward it via mail. 4. I try to open the file (fails to open most of the times) and then finally when i get it to open full-screen, it still doesn't let me share. It always says sending failed. Please try again. I'll be really grateful if someone offers help. I bought the phone a month or so ago and i love it but with official use it becomes a real pain sometimes.

Is this still worth buying in 2021?

It automatically shuts off and goes into recovery mode every time I put a SIM card in it ,then I figured out to set it to 3g instead of LTE and it works fine. But I am really having a problem with this because I want to use the 4g and my phone automatically shuts down every time I insert a SIM card into it...

When you put the phone landscape while having a video call

My problem is : The display, in spite of tapping twices on the screen it doesn't start and as if it got froozed.... And than on tapping for 6 7 times it starts... Any aolutions...

Between 250-300 usd poco x3 nfc seems to be good enough. I have had Samsung, HTC flagship devices at the past but i thought poco x3 nfc performs well for me at least for now. At the end of the day i use 10-15 apps in a day with some games and it is good enough for those apps.
