If you go to the Pod Go software and go to the output part of the chain there should be "output gain". You can add volume from there. Careful though, the dry guitar signal being around the -18dB or -12dB range is normal. Usually volume comes into play on the wet signal when you're reamping through a patch.

That's normal if you don't have your pod main outputs to your studio monitors. You're changing your audio device to the pod so the only speakers it'll recognize are ones hooked up to the pod's outputs. I have my monitors hooked up to my audio interface and my pod simultaneously so I can swap between and still hear the output. There are ways around this but they usually have latency issues.

Unfortunately I doubt I will be doing it for Pro Tools. However, it won't be much different. Just remember which stereo inputs are your processed (1/2) and which channels are your clean guitar (3/4) and the rest should be easy to figure out.

I'm guessing that's a passive set? Tried to look but I guess those are discontinued. If they're active I'd just make sure it's a fresh battery, it's gotten me a few times. Other than that you have a few options. When you go for the reamp you can change the output volume on Pod GO Edit. Usually +6dB is fine. Another option is to raise the master volume on the Amp model you are using. If you hear some unwanted breakup, make sure if you're using a compressor that the threshold isn't too high and that you aren't using too much make-up gain. Hope this helps! Edit for context: Your dry track should be peaking around -18dB and -12dB, so that's completely normal if you were second guessing anything!

@@mrclows7229 Yes, they are passive (albeit fairly high output) pickups. They sit in the area of 14k, which is around double the output of a traditional PAF styled humbucker). They are Seymour Duncans that were made in the mid to late 80's. For reference, they're the same pickups Adam Jones from Tool has in his Les Pauls. The amp volume itself isn't the problem, its more of how hard my DI signal is hitting the front end of the amp models. It's having the same effect as if I were recording straight into the Pod with my guitars volume pot rolled back to around 6-ish, if that makes any sense. It doesn't seem to be driving the amp's as hard, and I can only assume I'm missing something silly on my end. Thank you once again!

When you set the Pod Go as your audio device it basically acts as your audio interface/sound card. So if you have studio monitors or headphones you would need to plug those into the outputs of your Pod instead of your interface/cpu.
