I am currently dairy and soy free since my daughter has a milk and soy protein intolerance and cheese is much harder to give up over milk. I've also found milk alternatives are good and I didn't just drink milk, just a splash in my coffee and cashew milk is delish. Daiya cheese isn't very good, and most vegan cheeses have soy, so I've been adding nutritional yeast for a "cheesy" flavor.

I've been a vegetarian for about 3 years for ethical reasons and I consider going completely vegan on a daily basis but cheese is so hard for me to give up! I eat cheese every day, I rarely eat any other animal by-product, but boiiiiii cheese is everything. You guys really inspire me to give up cheese for good and really go vegan. Fun fact about the cheese thing: I'm allergic to casein (casomorphins) - dairy proteins. Cheese still tempts me even though eating it would cause extreme mucous production in my sinuses, my digestion to stop, a casein migraine that lasts for 6 hours minimum, and a mouth foaming. My airways remain clear and there's no hives, but it's the type of reaction one gets when there's no enzyme to digest something. I'm also allergic to morphine for this same reason, and have had the same reaction to it.
