Their players were physically tougher and had a chip on their shoulder like Big East Basketball. He met my neighbor on a dating site. I said "Wasn't that Ruben Patterson that I saw with you last night" and he replied "Busted, most people don't know who he is"😄He said Ruben was intelligent and sensitive. He didn't know about The Hulk alter ego😁 He was the original Shannon Sharpe. 😁

Oh God...he'd get checked real hard, real fast. lol....99% of the League wanted no part of a scrap with Dale Davis. This was just a strong, but still medium sized, vet teaching the young guys they weren't the boss. Zach was roughly 5 inches taller and at least 30-40 lbs heavier, from memory, than Rube. How was he getting "bullied" by a 2 guard? ..Still, a funny story and I greatly appreciate him telling it.
