Witness the creation of custom routes for Alexander Megos at the iconic Magnesia Climbing Gym in Forchheim. In this video, Max and Chris skillfully set up two challenging routes using high-quality holds sponsored by Kletterhallenservice Betzenstein. These routes were designed specifically to prepare Alexander for the upcoming Lead World Cup season.
Filmed between the Innsbruck and Villars World Cup events, this behind-the-scenes footage captures the precision and dedication behind our efforts to transform Magnesia into a world-class climbing destination.

It’s easy to look at Alex and think “here is a climber who has made it.” I like videos like this because they show the struggle and dedication that it takes to become one of the best. I don’t think either Alex or Chris thinks he has “made it”. Their hard work and humility always show in these videos. They have the mindset of champions

Das Video hat wirklich alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Wenn ihr euch Mal fragt warum ein zukünftiges Video nicht so gut ankommt, dann schaut einfach welche Teile aus diesem Video gefehlt haben. Mustergültig. Auch die Musik bei der letzten Route. Einfach schön zu schauen das Ganze, wenn man klettern liebt. Beste Kletterei auf einem Silbertablett serviert.

The ending to Alexs last climb was amazing. Perfect soundtrack for when you turn around the roof and pull yourself onto the headwall, with all your muscles strained to the fullest. Really cool shot

Both routes were awesome, really cool on the black one in the roof traverse part (too bad Arco and with its roof section is not on the WC circuit anymore). Congrats on the gym, cant wait to see more!

great video, I enjoyed it a lot! An idea is that when you're climbing in the video it would be cool to hear voice over from you about the moment to moment, what you're thinking in that moment, how tired you are, what your plan is and how the hold feels, etc.. It's cool no matter what though! Good luck in the worldcup!

Der DAV in München hat auch immer noch ein paar von den ganz alten Wänden behalten. Die sind einfach auf ihre eigene Weise cool. Vorallem die mit Fels-Texturen

Ich glaub das war weil die Meisten Kletterer, die das nur ab und an zum Spaß machen lieber Bouldern gehen, weil es schnell er geht und es ja inzwischen mehr Boulderhallen in der Umgebung gibt und so hat magnesia einf ihre Kunden verloren
