David is one of my favorite guests on the podcast because he was so honest and insightful! And honestly, his disgust with how Danielle was handled at first was so endearing to me!

All three of them are hanging onto his every word! When you have a formative mentor as a kid/teen, you never stop seeing them in that light. Love getting to watch their facial expressions and reactions to each other.

Truly incredible to hear the inside story of show business and landing a role and dealing with a show runner. An adult talking to a kid in that manner with that power disparity was pathetic. Loved everyone’s reaction to the story.

They talk about in many episodes about the fears of ending up the stereotyping "child actor." after hearing that Michael Jacobs story it actually makes me appreciate all the other adults on the show even more for treating all the kids well, because crap like that is what causes child actor syndrome

The amount of pressure put on child actors is amazing. Pretty much one of the few loopholes where child labor is still a thing. I've never really thought about it before now. But I do hear more former child actors speaking out about their experiences, and I think more will continue to do so. I hope that brings about some real change. It's nice that y'all are involved in film/show-making and can kinda BE that change. Thanks for making/posting these!

I 100% believe things need to change but I'm not sure anyone working on it has a viable solution right now. Social workers are run ragged they cannot supervise sets shutting down the networks isn't an option. I don't know what the solution is but I do think we have to come up with something else

Very much a missed opportunity to give fans what they would actually want to see, which would be live reactions to the episodes. Then I think it would be something I would want to watch and make the talks more interesting. It feels too unrelatable and like you are doing this for people in the industry. Not something I care to watch as a fan.

You’re missing out. It’s some really interesting conversations. For copyright reasons they cannot go and watch the show and live react to it. Not to mention the time it takes to watch and take notes and to have to coordinate that with the podcast recordings and the other jobs they do have, it would be unreasonable to expect of them.

I much prefer this format where I can watch the episode on Disney+ first, then watch the corresponding episode. The thing I’m less pumped about is that this podcast has been happening for months and we are just now getting video episodes and I much prefer video over audio format.
