Love the video! I'd would greatly appreciate a video about the different ways you've found to get into 2p1h. Been enjoying your concept videos and now I'm excited to see these tutorials!

Another thing im just curious about in general is tosses. I have all the one hand stuff down, my issue is when I start tossing them both. So a video on how to start working toward almost juggling would be awesome as well. Last thing is I get stuck on one move (the meltdown) to get from one move to the other. A video about your favorite moves for transitions would be something I enjoy. Sorry for the long post lol love ya

This is one of the best poi tutorials I've seen! Super clear breakdown of the move, multiple angles, slow motion used well, and an easy step by step to work up to it. Can't wait to get home and try it out. Keep it up my dude!

I don't know if you'll reply, but i would like to ask what exactly are switchbacks? Are they simply a toss of poi from one hand to the other or are they something else, or something more specific?
@BenCooperTech
@BenCooperTech Ай бұрын
i think what defines them is the machanic of switching (swapping) your poi, via a toss where both poi end up in one hand at some point. So you need to at some point during the swap, be holding two poi in one hand. if you did a swap but both poi were thrown at once, and you only ever hold one poi in either hand at any point, it would be more of a juggle than a switchback.

Hey dude im trying to buy a moving backlit tapestry thing. Would you be interested in a sale or anything?
@BenCooperTech
@BenCooperTech 3 жыл бұрын
Hey mate, sorry I don't sell tapestries, plus my tapestry wasn't backlit it was projection mapped, which required a projector and some extensive setup, so not really a thing I can sell unfortunately. Thanks for asking though!
@jordanfrancis129
@jordanfrancis129 3 жыл бұрын
@@BenCooperTech oh no I mean like could you sell me the, idk anything about this stuff but say its a file that I can run through a projector and then I can find the matching tapestry so I can run that in my room? I can't find anywhere to purchase something similar and I really don't have the knowledge to go make one
@jordanfrancis129
@jordanfrancis129 3 жыл бұрын
@@BenCooperTech what type of projector would you need for this anyway? I understand projection mapping takes alot of talent and probably a bit of money with different programs etc. But like is it even possible for to find someone who could sell me the actual projections that I could run through my projector (if I bought one aha) then project it onto my tapestry?

@@BenCooperTech i just started googling around, I don't think I could learn this stuff anytime soon hahaha youre really talented man! I'm out of Australia too so if its possible for any of the above lemme know at any time and I'd drop however much required, it is really something special
@BenCooperTech
@BenCooperTech 3 жыл бұрын
@@jordanfrancis129 Yeah everything I did was custom and the process of projecting on the tapestry wasn't super straightforward, I had to re align every minute detail each time I set it up since the fabric would move over time. You can use just about any type of projector, however you want to look for one with higher lumen rating and resolution. mine was 4500 lumen and xga resolution. Honestly there's no easy way to do it or cheap way to buy it. If you're really keen I'd say look into how to use resolume arena or madmapper and buy your self a 2nd hand projector to experiment with and learn :) The tapestry was my first time projection mapping, I just spent extra time to make custom animations, I have some resources in the description and comments of that video too.
I wish I could change THIS fast! 🤣
