The downtown of every CDN city has become a danger even to drug users. Also, don't need to see safe needle drop-offs in bathrooms of coffee shops there. Children see them and it normalizes such behaviour. This is not Canadian.

These safe sites were originally to help prevent HIV and Hep C from spreading. They did help. Today they are helping to save lives. It’s better for drug users to use at a safe site than using alone.

I agree with your sentiment, but when it's next to a school, you are now infringing on the safety of children, who also have rights. You can't take rights away from some to give more "safety" to others, especially when they made choices that lead to consequences. There is a middle ground where we can place those consumption sites more strategically.

Total number of visits to the Vancouver site over 20 years 4,602,125, total number of overdose deaths 0. Its irrefutable the site has saved thousands of lives, By educating and providing clean needles they also reduce HIV and hep C infections and makes the city safer by preventing more street use.
