Gorgeous set, not sure why they painted the bottom with black.. doesn’t flow. Plus it’s too small, can’t fit a figure in point Dredd. 🤷‍♂️🤣 Still a must get though

Awesome review as always Kyle! So many memories of MOTU. Definitely had this as a kid. Boy was I spoiled 😊. The original Talon Fighter/ Point Dredd also came with a storybook and record. I'm looking forward to grabbing this Origins version. Long live MOTU! ❤

I’ve been waiting to check out your review of this and it didn’t disappoint. I appreciate you showing how Point Dread fits on top of the castle and all the different ways it can be utilized. I had Point Dread & Talon Fighter growing up, and I do remember using it to fly my figures around quite often! Personally, I felt it was just a matter of time before we got this for Origins! I could feel your anxiety with the Classics Point Dread during the video! Almost looks like it was too top-heavy! 😂

Just picked one up on clearance for $17 at Walmart and it’s pretty cool I have the original grayskull so and you can plug it in on the tower but it can just sit up there and it looks pretty dang awesome

Why didn't mattel include the story book and record. That was the iconic thing l remember on the commercial of 1983. I never had as a kid 40 years ago but still has that nastalgia feeling about it. The figures can't fit or be placed in good in point Dread because it's smaller compared to the original. Good video sir

Talon Fighter is beautiful, Point Dread was a huge disappointment. Virtually everything in Origins is larger than the vintage versions (theory being you can use them with Masterverse as well), except for Point Dread. It's actually smaller than the vintage. The vintage version you could fit a figure inside standing up. Not so with the origins version. I think when I compared them there was close to 2 inches or height lost on the Origins version.

I love the plastic window so you see what you're actually getting. Granted, if there was a plastic window, we wouldn't get an amazing box art. I do like the addition of the double blaster canon. The vintage set works really well with vintage Grayskull. I have the vintage version. I can't wait to get this one. I'm glad 2 figures still fit in it and the addition of handles in the cockpit. The plastic "glass" is great too. Classics Talon is wanting to take off.

The Talon Fighter is awesome, but Point Dread is disappointing. It's far too small, you can't even stand a figure up inside it, not even when it is attached to Castle Grayskull. Mattel really dropped the ball on that playset. Great vehicle though.

How the hell this passed quality inspection blows my mind. Way to small, horrible black spray, fits very loose on castle. This needed more time in the oven.
