@@aerosailor1979 Early launch will be pre-Gen Con at game stores that sign up for AEG's Big Game Night program, and then the game will officially launch at AEG's Big Game Night at Gen Con (Early August). I believe the broad retail release is September 5th. The game will be available online (you can preorder now) or at your local game store!

Here is a small detail that bugs me. It looks like the tomato and the onion are too close in color. Why didn’t they make the onions white? I wonder if my kids will like it better than Sushi Go or Cat Lady, both of which we play occasionally.

Have to wonder why the crimson onion cards are almost the same colour as the red tomatoes - surely they should be BLUE? I don’t usually have colour issues in games but I’m pretty sure it will be a problem for most people in low light conditions. Seems a bit of a design flaw if you ask me, with an otherwise excellent game.

Because that's the color of red onions. Color issues shouldn't be a problem considering there is also a clear symbol and name on it. However yellow onion being brown or white would probably work better color wise however would make the game less colorful which probably hurt it's marketability.

Seems pretty easy wonder why it's 14 and up. I think alot of these card games are aged too high. My 5 year old understands and loves games like Loot, sushi go and go nuts for donuts

Why is the box so big for this? There's one deck of cards that fits in one of those slots. Are there planned expansions or something?

I believe the official release date is September 5th, but your local game store may have it as part of AEG's Big Game Night package - or you can pick it up at Gen Con if you are going to be there!

Depends. Cat Lady has less hate drafting compare to point salad. However Cat Lady can feel more samey from game to game.

We ended up with different sized cards, which wrecks our ability to shuffle them. At this price point, I find that pretty unacceptable.

“Hate drafting” is such a loaded term. I much prefer the Magic the Gathering term for it, “counter picking”.

Counter pick is a lie, it's always hate pick haha. Also, when you hate pick, you are benefitting everyone but you and your hate target. As you expend your pick in something not good for you and bad for one person

I’m intrigued, but I just don’t see an audience I would use this for. This would be too much non gamers, and perhaps too simple for gamers to regularly get to the table. I would enjoy a few rounds of it though for sure.

I disagree, at least with my family. My mother in law is almost 70 and she would be able to handle the complexity of this. I think this is a great non-hardcore gamer game that I would also enjoy.

@@dr.masque2903 We have had a lot of success with this game as a cross-over that gamers love playing with non-gamers because the barrier to entry is so low, but has enough meat to be a lot of fun for folks who like thinkier games.
