Wow! It's nice to see this throwback. They look so homey and beautiful. Besides, my favorite Pointer Sister, June looks wonderful. Can't believe three of the four sisters are gone. R.I.P. Anita, we miss you!

That was in September 1983 as their new album at the time, "Break out", went out in fall that same year. I was 18 at the time, wish I could be there but Montreal was far from my home back in those days... "Break out" will become their best album in their career. They were about to be at their pick!

Amazing footage! I didn't know Peter King had a show called Video Explosion. I was more familiar with Nitelife. Was this show on CFCF 12? Where is Peter King now?

Video Explosion was an all night video show midnight to six am that aired as a few specials early in the video / Muchmusic era 1984-85. It was on CFCF 12. Nite Life was weekly and later Music Vision aired daily at 4 pm. Not sure what happened to Peter King.
